"Не платят по страховым случаям (уже 5 месяцев жду)"

Резервирование FJ92116903.

В июне 2019 я брал на прокат автомобиль в Ираклионе, Крит/Греция, Автопрокатная компания:carandgo.gr (резервирование FJ92116903).

Когда сдавал, обнаружился при осмотре скол на лобовом стекле. Компания, предоставившаяся автомобиль удержала более 400 евро за данный ущерб с меня.

Предъявил документы на возмещение в Vehicle Rent.

Там все подтвердили (не всё, и не сразу - но все же) и сказали, что будет выплата через 90 дней.
И с тех пор ( на текущий момент 16 декабря 2019): на мои запросы - туманные ответы с паузами.

Не рекомендую связываться с данной компанией: цены низкие, но выплат по страхованию не будет (видимо, за счет этого и цены низкие)

Добавлено, после обратной связи:
Как обычно, в сообщении от сотрудников vehicle - "как можно скорее" и "все будет". Только нет конкретных сроков.
Сплошной обман и несбыточные обещания.

"Charge for Damages to Vehicle - Booking Reference - XA40749194"

I am afraid this is a scam. Please, please avoid. Damages were charged for a vehicle I rented in July 2019. These damages were nothing less than outrageous, however we had the Relax package. Vehicle Rent confirmed I was due a refund of 610 Euros on 25 July 2019.

After an enormous amount of correspondence I have received the same replies everyone else here has, 'apologies for the delay however we are processing'. This is simply untrue, the company is running a sophisticated scam. Notice how positive reviews are always done en masse on the same date?

I have no choice but to go to the police and pursue legal action against this company, however this will be most difficult due to their location and not being registered with the UK or EU regulatory board.

I would honestly advice anyone thinking of using this company to no do so.

If anyone from Vehicle Rent is reading this, please don't send me another holding email. I simply want a refund which was due almost 6 months ago.

"This company is a scam"

This company is a scam. We have been waiting since 5th July for a refund of €600. No one in the claims department emails back and they don’t have a phone. No one in customer service/complaints team (Same number and email) can help you and claim no manager is available. Complete joke.

"Stay away from them. Check first, pay after !"

Yesterday, 13/12/2019, I received an email telling me that I have to pay at the car rental, because Vehicle Rent changed their policy.
I told them that I'm not happy to be charged twice as I already paid in advance for my booking, and no answer from them.
Looking through all the other reviews, I am getting concerned about my money being refunded, ever.
I also think that trustpilot should lower their rating, seeing all these negative reviews, so people will be aware and stay away from them.
This is my second experience with them and for the first one, I've been charged extra 250 EURO.

"Consumer credit act claim"

After 6 months of constantly contacting this company chasing my claim which had been approved with the usual 90 days waiting time, I disputed through my credit card company and received my claim and cost of car hire. This took 2-3 weeks.

"DO NOT WAIT 90 DAYSI CHARGEBACK IMMEDIATELY"

DO NOT WAIT 90 DAYSI If you are reading this immediately call your bank and file a chargeback on your entire payment to Car Target Group, this is the maximum amount you will ever see back from them as the whole 90 days waiting period is a loophole they have found to prevent everyone they scam from filing chargebacks. MOST banks have a 90-120 days chargeback time limit.

By ensuring you that you will receive a refund within 90 days, they are timing you out from getting any of your money back.

I am one of the hundreds/thousands of customers that has been scammed by VEHICLE-RENT after paying for their 'insurance.' I was charged $200 euros for a cracked mirror and am now waiting for 140+ days.

I won't get my money back but you definitely can. File a chargeback and explain the whole situation to your bank. The COUNTLESS reviews on Trustpilot is more than enough proof.

"Scam"

Same experience as others. I received confirmation that my claim had been approved and passed to their accounts dept for payment within 90 days. The 90 days has passed and they're now ignoring my calls/emails.

Interesting how you can respond to the above review within a matter of a few working hours, yet my emails are still being ignored?

Hi all, still getting ignored. I've made complaints to the UK European Consumer Centre and also to the European Consumer Centre Slovenia - will let everyone know if they can help us at all.

Update 07/01/20:
Overdue refund still not received and still no indication as to when it will be paid. Have called Customer Services and explained the situation to 8 different agents now, have sent 10 emails including a formal complaint but I'm still being ignored. I don't know how this company continues to operate like this.

"121 days and still no sign of a refund - Update"

It's now been 121 days since you stated that my 'claim' has been successful. Just for the record - This is not a 'claim' as you so eloquently put it - it's a refund in full of MY money that I paid to you upfront in good faith.

As already stated in emails sent to you - I've been extremely patient so far, but you now have 3 days to refund MY money. If I don't see any cash back in my account by Monday 16th December. I will pursue legal action through the European courts, irrespective of the cost.

Oh and Emily, don't bother trying to tell me that you're sorry it's taking so long and thanking me for being patient because it's gone way past that stage don't you think?

Instead, refund me what is rightfully and lawfully mine!

Edit - This morning I received yet another standard reply -

We are doing everything we can, in order to guarantee the refund will be provided to you as soon as possible. One of our agents will keep you updated on the matter.

I don't want you to 'apologise' for the inconvenience caused. That simply isn't good enough.

Instead I actually want Vehicle-Rent to fulfil their obligation and refund me MY money within the time frame that YOU set.

As you haven't or won't do that, I am now taking legal action

UPDATE -----------

Today, I FINALLY received my full refund. That's 136 days after Vehicle Rent stated that my 'claim' had been successful and 150 days after the money was initially taken out of my account.

Even though I'm glad I've got my money back, It's disgraceful that I and countless others need to wait so long to receive a refund which is rightfully theirs.

It seems a written letter (sent registered post) to their head office in Ljubljana and a potential claim through the European Small Claims Court has suddenly spurred them into action.

I would suggest that others do the same.

Needless to say, I won't be using this company or recommending them ever and I'm glad this whole scenario is now done and dusted.

"Terrible customer service"

I booked a rental via vehicle rent for an upcoming trip to France. As per the terms of my booking I paid the £175 balance in advance of the rental. Yesterday I received an email to explain that the terms have changed and I would instead need to pay over the counter to the car provider. I don't have a problem with this... however vehicle rent will not refund the prepaid balance until after my rental and are demanding copies of my bank statement and receipts from the car provider before doing so. This is shocking customer service. They changed the terms and have no right to hold on to the prepaid balance. Why should I fork out twice, incur an extra admin burden and run the risk of being let £175 out of pocket?
