They might look cheaper, like I found them through Kayak, but in the end they are way to expensive and full of stress.

At least that happened with me and Horsepower car rental Miami. From Kayak i got to vehicle rent than to horse power. I hape paid to vehicle rent, half, I should have paid to horse power half as well, for my supplimentary insurance, for which I would have been charged with a bloc of 1300 on card anyway... long story short:

avoid at well cost horsepower at least. Office out of the airport, I had to phone 3 times to understand how can I get to the shuttle.

I was in the office to pick my car but they tried to rub me. They tried to sell me a toll pas deal with 10 usd per day plus the tolls. I refused it, they wanted me no sigh something that I will pay a penalty 25 each time i use o toll, even i pay it myself.

And then they came with something else: they wanted to sell me a kind of international white driving licence?! !, with 10 usd per day, saying that my driving licence is UK. I showed my booking confirmation, we had a debate. In the end I decided to leave and not to pick the car as i was asked for at least 60 usd more than my rental agreement.

kayak should not put horesepower in this results, never happened before this nightmare.

I asked from the rental company a refund, vehicle-rent.com answered they are investigating. still waiting for an answer, it's been a week.



what i did in the spot, i got back to the airport. At least Ana, from desk, offered me a free shuttle back.

at the airport, from my phone, on line, through kayak i did another booking, this time with Alamo, office write next to me no shuttle. I paid just a bit more but it was stress FREE. No extra insurance, just standard, no block on my card, nothing extra to pay, no problem with a uk permit as normal, no daily payment for using the sunpass, free upgrade, all so easy, normal, stress free. thanks Douglas from Alamo, you are the man! And Alamo is the best ever rental companies.

Vedo che non sono l'unico ad avere problemi con il rimborso !
noleggio dello scorso 18 Luglio 2019, ad oggi 23 Novembre 2019, nessun segnale di rimborso con bonifico con pratica chiusa con conferma di rimborso già in Agosto !!! però il prelievo dalla carta di credito è stato fatto in 5 giorni !! INCREDIBILE!! e poi le spese amministrative...altra truffa.. 60 Euro.. e si trattava di una semplice foratura!!! Pacchetto relax davvero POCO RELAX !!

We have rented lots of cars from airport, but never again, we was a little worried after a 12 hour journey that we would be messing around with calls ect to let the rental firm we had landed and they could come and collect us. We worried for nothing the collection guy was all ready there waiting for us. And such a pleasure to have him, he was friendly and more than obliging to help us. Easy fast drop of service on return. This is the only car rental I will be using in the future. Thank you guys for a outstanding performance.

"AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST #FRAUD"

Avoid this company at all cost. Biggest scammers on this planet. I made a claim back in June, I was told all the documents have been verified and I will receive my refund according to my super access policy. They told me it will take 90 days to get my refund. Its been 5 months ! And I keep getting the same email. It seems like they don't want to pay up. I'm taking other steps to get my money back as I've had enough of this fraudulent company vehicle-rent.

I will also be posting on other platforms about my experience with this company and getting in touch with the relevant ombudsman team. Seems like this company is a big fraud.

I suggest people struggling to get their money back to do the same.

Time to name and shame !

no help at all got a rental from them with damage on it
also on the contract then charged me for the damage .


also was meant to be an auto was not given a semi auto

your rep at the office help the passport and c/card was not giving them back until the payment was made blackmail us for payment as we would of missed the flight .
if the damage in on the contract how can you charge for the same thing over and over
