"Porta del Cel: mooi maar zeer zwaar."

Porta del Cel is een uitzonderlijke mooie wandeling, maar wel een zeer zware inspanning. Wij wandelden 4 dagen 10 tot 12 uur per dag. Heel vaak is er geen pad. Voor het grootste deel van de wandeling is er geen telefoonconnectie. Een device met sat-com, zoals Garmin InReach, is aangewezen om de veiligheid te verhogen.

"Great price. Support and collaboration a bit off."

Great price. Being a first time Mt. Blanc hiker, we clearly set our expectations with the company. The hike set was very challenging even though we asked through our conference call for our expectations to be met. The itinerary was messed up in a couple of places causing some stress along the way that needed to be corrected. Our contact should have been someone who had done the TMB before instead of someone giving opinions. Great time, but much more work than it should have been

"Tour du Mt Blanc"

The scenery on the TMB was magnificent.
Bookatrekking did a great job with securing reservations for the refuges. However, Bookatrekking could show a bit more flexibility in tailoring the reservations. I asked to have a rest day built into the itinerary but this was refused. I asked to have Days 5 and 6 changed so that Day 6 wouldn't be such a long day. This was refused.

"Information in advance is good and…"

Information in advance is good and thorough. Lots of great suggestions to prepare for the trip. Helpful to answer questions per email. Great that there is a whatsapp service during the trip.

Suggestions for improvement:
- The estimated time for the hikes at the Komoot app are not adequate for not that experienced hikers
- Answer email a bit more prompt

"Never recieved my ciccerone guide…"

Never recieved my ciccerone guide despite having emailed the company numerous times.Was told a lot of lies in regards to them sending it.

"A fine 4 day hiking trip"

A fine 4 day, 3 night hiking trip in the Kazbegi area of Georgia. The first day's hike needs to be replaced due to construction, but the other three were very enjoyable. Nugo was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable. The guesthouse in Kazbegi was beyond my expectations. Highly recommended if you have a few extra days in Georgia and don't want to spend it in the city.

"4-daagse trek bij Höchkoning was geweldig!"

Wij hebben de 4-daagse trek bij Höchkoning (Salzberger Almenweg) mogen doen. Het was een fantastische ervaring met zeer goede accommodaties, heerlijk eten en goede uitzichten. De wandelingen waren prima te doen voor ons groepje (waarvan één ooit haar kruisbanden heeft gescheurd en nog last ervan heeft, één ander ooit haar been heeft gebroken op 18 plekken er ook nog last van heeft, een ander iets aan haar heup heeft en nog iemand een probleem heeft met der knieën) die bestond uit redelijk onfitte millenials met enige fysieke mankementen.

Bookatrekking had het goed georganiseerd, en heeft veel gedaan aan goede informatievoorziening zodat we voorbereid de trip in konden. Echt een aanrader! Als je een instaphuttentocht wilt met enige uitdaging dan is dit een uitstekende keuze.

Tip: je kan het gebied prima met de trein benaderen. Wij vonden dit vooraf nog een beetje spannend, dus gingen met de auto, maar in principe was die spanning ongegrond.

"Guter Kontakt"

Guter Kontakt. Schnelles Reagieren. Die beim Dolomiten Höhenweg 1 als lang befürchtete Tagestouren entpuppten sich als machbar.

De trip was prachtig.
De beschrijving van de wandeling in de begeleidende tekst klopte nietop sommige punten, dat kan echt wel beter. En een van de hutten klopte niet, dat is na mailcontact gecorrigeerd. Contact met het bedrijf verloopt via mail, die is vlot en vriendelijk beantwoord. Er is wel een telefoonnummer voor nood.
