De hike zelfs was top. Maar vond book a trekking zelf wat slecht georganiseerd e gaven weinig informatie. Moest zelf bijvoorbeeld achter m'n betaling aan.

"Fantastische ervaring met gids Basanta"

Wij hebben een fantastische trekking gehad in Nepal via Book a trekking. Dil heeft ons van te voren goed voorbereid en kon al onze vragen beantwoorden die we hadden.
Tijdens de trekking heeft onze gids Basanta ons perfect begeleid. Hij had veel aandacht voor hoe het met ons ging, was altijd vrolijk en gezellig en kon veel over de regio vertellen! Al met al een dikke aanrader!

Great trekking! Just a couple of inconiniences (e.g., the first tent we got let water inside when it was raining), but the porters and guides were great and brought us safely to the top! Very good value for money.

Positive experience for trekking on the rongai route . Summit reached.
Organization of the trek (Enosa tour) was good with some reservations.
1. Itinerary done different from what was indicated in the booking base (on the second day we did not go to kikeleua Camp and then climb to Mahuenzi hit, but stopped at second and third camp). I asked for explanations from the guides who, however, said that was the itinerary and could not be changed.
2. Equipment (tents) provided not entirely adequate. It rained the first night and water was coming into our tent from every seam. We exchanged the tent for the guides' tent, which, however, was very poorly maintained (defective zippers, broken mosquito nets, abraded fabric, etc.).
3. Very good cook, waiter and porters. Food good although I would have preferred less fried things.
4. Time of arrival at summit too early. We stayed very few minutes because of the intense cold and could barely see the sunrise. Which was a shame since it was supposed to be the highlight of the whole trek. We had asked to leave a little later given the hiking times of the previous days, but no dice. Departure 00:00 a.m.
5. Pretty pushy guides on the subject of tipping. They asked us several times-obviously before we went down to base camp-providing us with average tips that were higher than those we had received from the organization and without distinguishing between guide and assistant guide. In addition, the tipping system should be revised because if you find yourself (not by your own choice) to be only two people, it is not fair that you should be saddled with a monster amount of tips (in our case $800 for two, still less than what the guides indicated).
6. A lot of free time at the camp. Sometimes quite annoying.

Overall a wonderful experience and the summit conquest is a beautiful thrill, but with some aspects to be improved by the organization.

Alles war super organisiert. Die Guides waren sehr nett, professionell und informativ. Es gab keine offenen Fragen und man hat sich jeder Zeit sehr sicher gefühlt. Und die Porter hatten vernünftige Schuhe und wurden fair behandelt.

prachtige wandeltocht!, goede communicatie en alle gemaakte afspraken klopten.
Klein puntje van aandacht, wij liepen de tocht in november, omdat de dagen dan kort zijn waren 2 etappes te lang om te kunnen halen voor het donker. Maar dat was eenvoudig op te lossen door in een dorpje een taxi te nemen naar onze bestemming voor die avonden
