De trekking die we hebben gedaan was fantastisch. Wat minder fantastisch was, was de rol van bookatrekking.com. Eenmaal na het boeken van de reis, ben ik gekoppeld aan een lokale organisatie in Nepal en verder heb ik vanuit bookatrekking.com niks meer vernomen. Zelf de documentatie die ik aangeleverd had, was niet eens doorgestuurd naar de lokale organisatie.

Twee weken voor onze daadwerkelijke reis waren er flinke overstromingen en landslides in Nepal. Ik nam contact op met bookatrekking.com, maar ik werd al heel snel doorverwezen naar de lokale organisatie. Ik vraag me werkelijk af wat de toegevoegde waarde is van deze organisatie. Achteraf kun je het net zo gemakkelijk lokaal organiseren, spreken ze daar prima engels en heb je betere support.

Alles sehr zuverlässig, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mein guide Elis und mein Porter Durga haben so gut auf mich aufgepasst und mich auch viel motiviert.
Dil im Office sehr schnell im Antworten und organisieren.

"11-tägiges Annapurna Trekking mit Thorong La"

Es war eine wunderbare 11-tägige Trekkingtour am Annapurna-Circuit über den Thorong La Pass. Guide Arbid und Porter Dil waren immer hilfsbereit und haben auch bei Änderungen durch das
Tihar Fest alles hervorragend gemanagt. Das Wetter hat auch wunderbar mitgespielt und so ist es für mich eine unvergessliche Reise geworden. Zu jedem Dinner wurde von den beiden liebevoll ein spezieller Nachtisch aus Apfel und Granatapfel zubereitet. Es war rundherum von Alpine Ramble alles Bestens vorbereitet und umgesetzt, incl. Abholung vom Flughafen, hierfür möchte ich mich nochmals herzlich bedanken.

Bookatrekking were very helpful in securing us a spot on the Alta Via 1! They were great in their communications and made the experience easy. The app you are supplied with for maps is amazing and easy to use. They provided so much info about the trip, what to bring, etc. I will definitely do another multi-day hike via Bookatrekking. Thank you!

"I would not choose them again"

Unfortunately, I don't think the service was good. First, the company markets itself on the fact that they respond quickly and have specialists in relation to the specific trails. It took me over a week to get an appointment with a consultant who was nice but not very competent. She had never walked the trail we were going to walk or been in the area. Her answer was therefore at a level I could think of myself. I had chosen bookatrekking because their hotels looked nice. When I got my travel documents, I could see that a large part of the hotels were different from the ones they advertised. There may be good reasons for that, but it made me uncomfortable that I had to discover it myself and that they did not make this transparent. On the journey, it was a bit odd that many of the accommodations had sent a code to enter which we never received. I wrote this to bookatrekking, for which I got a long explanation that I could not use for anything. So all in all, I won't be using the company again, unfortunately.

"Ghorepani Poon hill trek"

I went on a solo trek to the Ghorepani Poon hill with Krishna and James. Amazing and helpful People. The trek itself had beautiful views.

"Unvergesslicher Annapurna Base Camp Trek – Dank Arpan und Auyesh!"

Der Annapurna Base Camp Trek war eine unvergessliche Erfahrung und dank Alpine Ramble Treks konnten wir die Reise in vollen Zügen genießen. Von der ausgezeichneten Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit Dil bis zu den reibungslosen Transfers war alles perfekt organisiert.
Ein besonderer Dank geht an unseren Guide Arpan und unseren Sherpa Auyesh.
Arpan hat uns nicht nur sicher durch die beeindruckende Bergwelt geführt, sondern auch immer dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wohl und gut aufgehoben fühlten. Zusammen mit Auyesh haben die beiden den Trek durch ihre freundliche und humorvolle Art zu einem echten Highlight gemacht. Wir hatten super viel Spaß zu viert und waren wie eine kleine Familie. Jeden Abend haben sie uns zum Dinner einen selbstgemachten Nachtisch aus Äpfeln, Granatapfel und Snickers gezaubert.
Die spektakuläre Landschaft, die perfekte Organisation und die Begleitung durch Arpan und Auyesh haben diese Reise zu etwas Einzigartigem gemacht. Wir können Alpine Ramble Treks, Bookatrekking und dieses tolle Team nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

"Mooie trekking maar konden amper communiceren met onze gids"

Wij boekten de Manaslu trekking met engelstalige gids en porter. De trekking was prachtig! Super mooie natuur.
De enige teleurstelling was de talenkennis van onze gids. Het was zeer moeilijk om met hem te communiceren. We hadden gehoopt om veel te kunnen bijleren over de cultuur, bergen, vegetatie, gewoontes enz maar dat ging gewoonweg niet. Hij was wel altijd super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
