Received Mother's Day Special and was delighted. The little Sachertorten tasted even better than the one I had in Vienna a while ago. Ordered a medium sized one for my husband's birthday.

For lovers of authentic Austrian fare, rather than pale imitations, go to Kipferl: wonderful Austrian cakes and wines from growers you will not find elsewhere, coffees, jams and more will be delivered to London addresses and beyond while the restaurant has to remain closed.

I discovered this Austrian Coffee House through my daughter who lives nearby. The cakes are amazing. Recently my daughter bought me a packet of the Viennese coffee beans Stambulia, available there. What could be more welcome in these awful corona times than a piece of Topfentorte and a Wienermelange.
Delivery went off without a hitch.

I ordered for the first time from Kipferl, a Sachertorte which was delicious, perfect for my taste not too sweet. Delivery was good, on the requested day as it was a birthday cake, well packaged. I am confident I will order again from them, to try other cakes too.
