I have to say this has been the best building experience we have ever had. From the initial consultation, site visit from Tim, the continuous communication with the project team, Louise and Stuart and the building and electrical teams, Paul, Liam, Matt, Gary, Ben and Brad. The professionalism, the standard of workmanship and the speed of build for our Garden Room has been top notch - we could not of wished for anything better.

The after care has been great too. So we couldn’t do anything but give the whole experience 5 stars.

If you are after a garden room, office, gym, chill out space that fits in with your budget please don’t hesitate to use Smart (My) Modular. We highly recommend this fantastic company.

From start to finish the Smart Modular team have been exceptional. Their staff both onsite and at the head office have been always contactable and the work has been completed efficiently and with skill.

In the Summer of 2022. We decided to have a Garden Room/ Gym built. The Plan was for me to start PT sessions as I teach part time. After consulting a handful of so called “Garden Room” companies imagine our disappointment when they said they couldn’t do all the work… We would have to lay the foundations or get the Electrics carried out. Also with no access to our garden via a garden ( it’s through our utility room) they said it would be impossible to have the work done!
We decided to have another look around…

Step forward MyModular!!! My god what a breath of fresh air!! A company who can carry out the whole job, with Tradesmen who aren’t work shy and know exactly what they’re doing!!
So during November 2022 Tim the head of business development came to assess the the job. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. We could have all the work done from start to finish and the access to our garden wasn’t a problem either. Phew!!
After deciding to go ahead, Tim advised when the work would start. A WhatsApp group was set up for us to keep us up to date. Louise the Operation Coordinator let us know everything!
On the 17th January 2023 work started.
These Tradesmen don’t hang about. They never stopped from first thing in the morning until they finished late afternoon. Their work was impeccable. Clean, tidy, polite. The guys were fantastic, everyone of them!!
A week later our Garden Room was built.
Absolutely amazing!! All the Electrics, Lighting, WI-FI, Heating, Flooring the lot!! My wife and I are so happy with it. It’s the best thing we’ve done. I can finally start my PT sessions.

MyModular are THE BEST
Great product, Great work ethic and nothing is a problem, just a solution. Brilliant!

Fantastic company from the initial sales stage through to completion!

After a lot research and meeting various companies for a garden room, My Modular came out on top! They were very informative and kept us up-to date through out the whole process with a schedule which was delivered on time.

The install team were fantastic! With minus degrees weather they cracked on everyday still smiling. Their attention to detail was great and they were the most friendly, polite tradesmen I have ever met!

We are both thrilled with the results and can not thank the whole team enough.

"Use My Modular for your garden office build"

This is my first review on Trust Pilot, and I'm so very happy to write it for the Smart Modular / My Modular team.

I had initially gone with another company for my garden office build, but unfortunately just before they started to build they went under, and I had luckily paid the deposit by credit card so I was able to claim the amount back. This meant that I was very cautious, and generally suspicious of companies promising, and taking money from me. It turns out their business model wasn't right vs others in the market.

I initially got in contact with Tim, we spoke a few times and then he visited my place in East London. I live in a garden flat, with limited access - so we discussed all the possible entry points (we had to get creative!) for the modular building. He was great, very enthusiastic and definitely a problem solving type character. From then we had the base level plan of what size, look, and more importantly pricing and service they would provide.

The communication with the team has and still is (nearly 1 year on!) fantastic. We were sent the soft-copy plans via Whatsapp - which did feel odd at first, but it was very smooth and meant everyone at head office could chat with me in the run up and during the build.

The further site visit, deliveries, embedding the ground screws, then the week long full build of the outhouse/garden room was seamless. I put this down to the positive, service oriented attitude of EVERYONE that was on this project. The build team even helped me and my family with bags out of our car when we got back from a trip away.

The fact that the build team consists of a team of 4-5 people (mine was a 4m x 4m), then separate electricians, meant that it really was a speedy, high quality project. It was enjoyable to see the team at work, they were super polite, very engaging when we had questions (it was awesome to see the progress).

Since the project has completed back in March, we've asked them to come back to look at one section of the roof which was well finished, but one area was catching some wind and making a strange sound - they were more than happy to fix that, and then only a few weeks ago the heater gave up on us - but this was a manufacture fault, and so this was swapped out easily and all organised by Louise in the head office.

So thank you to Tim, Stuart, Louise in HQ for the very responsive comms and logistics - and to James and the crew that built the garden room.

"All round great experience"

From the inital survery and chat with the team through to the final build we cannot rate My Modular highly enough.
We had constant support via whatsapp which helped deal with any queries we had. The team were always friendly and helpful.
The build team were brilliant. They were great fun to have at the house, always polite and their finish was very high. Everything ran very smoothly with a clear schedule and the speed at which the build progressed was so quick.
We are thrilled with the space that we have and would recommend MyModular to anyone considering a garden room.

"Fantastic quality and amazing experience"

Stuart and the team have been unbelievably helpful and competent throughout. We needed a 9m x 4.5m studio that was 3.5m high. The team managed the planning application, site prep (from clear, level ground), build and electrical works.

Nothing was too much and the team on site were incredibly friendly, respectful and efficient.

I would (and already have) recommended Smart Modular to anyone looking for a garden building. You get what you pay for and it has been a joy.
