We decided to go with Britelite as assurances were given that the required French doors and windows could be installed pre-Christmas. Guess what? They now won't be fitted until January 2021.

I think the salesman (Andrew Chapman) would have agreed to anything to get our order. He outlined that the survey would be done the next day. It wasn't, we had to chase this. The survey should then have meant the process was started. It wasn't. We had to chase this.

Apparently there are 'internal checks' that need to be carried out. What are they and how on earth can they take three weeks?!

Andrew called the installations team when he was at our house and put the person on speakerphone. Looking back it felt like a well rehearsed and much-used role play they had carried out many times before to convince customers that the agreed timescales could be met and that our order could be pushed through as a 'priority'.

You have a long way to go to convince us you are worth more than a measly two stars, Britelite! A poor start...
