"Avoid at all costs"
Avoid at all costs, spin you a pack of lies take your money and then sub-contract it to another company and say you are not guaranteed reduced rates. Pleas learn from my mistake after losing £1,750. Wish I had ready the reviews first. Mistake learnt but please do not follow in my steps!!!

"Rates Reduction.......NOT"
Had written (TEXT) confirmation from the salesman to confirm a large reduction in my rates, this was 2019 handed over the fee and waited..............and waited.
many, many emails chasing and as of today nothing. They even had the audacity to request another payment to re-appoint them as the period for the first action had conveniently expired!!!
They seem to be very good at this and looking at the reviews and local feedback in my area one should avoid at all costs.
Lesson learnt..

"Avoid and don't hand any money over until you have read the reviews!"
So I left a review for this company last year, I was incredibly disappointed in their service, lack of communication and general lack of care. I wasn’t given the service that I was promised and they failed on every level, costing me a lot of hard earned money for nothing. I was asked to remove the review on the basis that they would work for me free of charge on the new ratings period. Guess what? They haven’t provided any evidence of any work carried out on my behalf again and they aren’t replying to emails either. So for the first ratings period they sent in their appeal with absolutely no evidence or information, of course it was over ruled. They didn’t bother to provide any other information or appeal it. This time around they haven’t bothered to send anything in and have completely ignored me. I will not be bullied in to taking down my review by Chris or Lily this time as I believe any potential clients should know that at best they are scammers but at worst thieves.

"Case passed to a third party since my negative review"
Since my review of 1st November, which I refused to take down, despite them offering to "come to an arrangement" if I did, they have now written to me advising me that, as per their terms, they have passed my case on to a third party who are "better placed to manage" my appeal.

"Deceptive Practices and Poor Communication"
From the outset, the sales representative and two other team members assured me that my business would be entitled to a business rates discount. I was given false hope during a meeting, a survey check, and an additional telephone check. Despite their repeated assurances that my business was eligible, the reality was starkly different. I ended up paying more than I did before I engaged with this company, and my trust in their supposed expertise has been shattered. The person assigned to my case left the business without any notification, leaving me in the dark for several months about the progress of my case.

"Non-stop unsolicited spam"
Non-stop unsolicited spam. At least once a month since I formed my company, some clown from this joke of a company has been spamming me with something or other that they claim I'm entitled to.
If only they'd offer to give me peace and quiet, surely we're entitled to that too?

"Another email from them saying I have a…"
Another email from them saying I have a business rates credit outstanding which they can follow up. Have never needed to pay any business rates so they are just making it up to try and generate business for themselves. The email looks professional which will catch people and the firm appear to be a genuine firm.

"Further unsolicited harrassement"
I complained about this company in 2020 sending unsolicited emails and making false claims. The company removed me from their data base. However yet again I am being harassed by this scam company.

"My experience is the same as most"
My experience is the same as most -
After handing over £1,400, in August 2021, there was a site survey to create a floor plan. A couple of emails requesting further information, which was provided. After which, no updates received until chased, then you receive a nonsensical explanation of where they are, which in which then has no follow up, until you receive a new invoice for the rollover period. I have given up with them and still have received no form of courtesy update or call since March.
I have come to the conclusion this is a scam and I was taken in hook, line and sinker.
to make matters worse, I was also receiving marketing mailers to take on their services under a different name - Duncan Taylor James
When I complained I received this:
Hi Matt
I have reached out to our marketing team… they have confirmed suppression of your domain has been requested. Apparently, it can take up to 21 days for this to become effective so I can only offer my reassurances and apologise for any upset or inconvenience.
So far as the outcome is concerned, I am afraid that I cannot give a definitive answer.
That was the only informative update I had.
So all I can say to sum up is, Avoid.

"Any company who resorts to misleading…"
Any company who resorts to misleading and deceptive email marketing should not be in business.
I got an email today titled "Local Authority Overpayments" from Hampton Lovett Consultant Surveyors Ltd claiming:
"I am writing you to as we have noticed that there is an unclaimed Business Rates credit note against your business premises."
Really?
Seeing as the business has not had any premises for 4 years and has been dissolved for 2 years and owed business rates when it was dissolved it is literally impossible for such a 'credit' to happen.
I think one of two things is likely here.
1. That a private business (namely Hampton Lovett Consultant Surveyors) has access to 'credit notes' of a local authority and the local authority have made a mistake seeing as the business hasnt been trading for over 2 years and the business rates had arrears when the company ceased trading.
or
2. This is deceptive marketing
I have sent the email to our local authority and reported the deception
