"A BIG shout out for Tettenhall Windows & Conservatories…"
Tettenhall Windows & Conservatories supplied/fitted our conservatory in 2015. It’s been fine until a few weeks ago when we returned from holiday to find the inner pane of a roof panel had shattered. It’s not uncommon for this to happen and there are all sorts of theories.
The point is, looking through our original documentation, we read “don’t forget the Tettenhall Windows 10 yr guarantee”. I was sceptical that after 9 years, this would be honoured, but sent an email and some photos to Tettenhall Windows. There was no problem at all, we were given a date for their surveyor to come out and measure up, the unit was ordered and two excellent fitters have just replaced the unit.
For me it’s not whether or not anything goes wrong (there is always this possibility), it’s how a company deals with it when it does. This company has been excellent and I would defiantly recommend them and will go to them first for any future Windows etc.

My husband called them on Monday 9th January 2023 and actually got an answer on the phone, Joe answered and we where told someone would be with us on Wednesday 11th Jan 2023 to rectify the problems, we where both shocked to the speed in which he said they would be here. TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, I have waited in all day, no one’s arrived. Just found out they have gone into liquidation.

"Do not go with this company!!!"
Do not go with this company. I’ve just spent a week trying to get hold of somebody to sort out rectifying a problem with my installation. No emails or voice messages have been replied to. The main phone numbers just ring out. I’ve called every possible number I could and get no luck. I currently have a bay window. That is the wrong design and is not installed or sealed properly.
Like I said, do not go with this company, but having said that that wouldn’t be difficult if you can’t actually get hold of them!

Shocking customer service. Conservatory roof leaks. Repeated requests to have it fixed have been ignored. Avoid along with their sister company C-Thru Glass.

"Aftercare service not interested in fixing our problem"
We had our existing conservatory roof and door replaced with a warmer roof and bifolds on the 18th May . The salesman advised us to spray the pvc anthracite grey and keep the existing frames . We did this and were given a price for the spray to take place after the installation.
For the first 3 days the installation seemed to be going great . The guys on site were excellent and we were really happy with the results . Then on day 4 we noticed that the panel to the right of the bifolds wasn’t glued down correctly . At this point we had the office ringing us for final payment , however we were reluctant to pay until the job was complete . The manager rang us to say that the installer was unsure how it had happened but he sent him back the next morning and the panel was glued down ( but still wasn’t perfect). This wasn’t actually finished until the following week as the installer had to come again to fix this but we were still being called for the final payment to be made . We eventually were satisfied and paid however the conservatory had yet to be sprayed anthracite grey . When I spoke with the company they gave me the name of the company who would be doing this . I was then really annoyed to find out that the company were not aware of our job, the price agreed or the amount of work needed to complete it . This was extremely embarrassing and when I queried this with Wolverhampton Glass they told me that the sales person who quoted our job was now no longer with the company . Thankfully the spraying company reluctantly agreed to honour our price , but as the customer I was horrified to have to have such a conversation with him .
For the first few months we have been satisfied with the work done . The roof is excellent, the doors are great ( apart from the uneven rubber seals ) and the room is now much warmer . But unfortunately on the 20th August I noticed that the panel that had been the original problem had pulled away from the wall and was warped , as are other corners of the installation that hold the bifolds . I contacted Wolverhampton glass and got told to fill out a form online requesting a service . I was expecting a call back but the following week I chased this and kept getting told someone would be in touch . In the end I was given by the lady in the sales office the number for a company called C Thru who would take care of my job . I spoke with a guy from them who said he needed pictures and so I sent them to him on WhatsApp . He never responded . I chased the following week and was told that he had tonsillitis and he would chase it . Another week went by and no contact was made . I chased Wolverhampton glass and was assured that my complaint was being escalated to the MD but this didn’t speed anything up .
On the 13th October the Operations Manage got in touch to ask if our service had been completed . How he didn’t know the answer was no is very worrying and says all you need to know about the organisation in their aftercare service . On the 18th October I then received a rather informal email from the Operations manager which simply said ‘Hi , u in tomorrow ?’. Due to work commitments we were not available and I then offered back two dates the following week where we were available . Again we were met with a further wall of silence .
Finally on the 28th October I rang the office again and the phone was answered this time by the guy from C Thru . He apologised and said he could not believe we were still waiting . He then assured me he would sort it so I sent him further pictures which he requested so he could identify the panel to replace . Unbelievably again since sending these pictures we have heard nothing .
To summarise . The conservatory refit and the warmer roof are great but when you have a 10 year guarantee you expect the service care to be more professional . We have now been waiting a full 3 months since we first put in a service request and as of yet haven’t had a single visit from anyone or a date when this will be rectified. We have had to chase this over and over again and it’s frustrating to see no remedy in sight . I have never written a negative review on anything ever before, but feel that I have to share my experience as I wouldn’t want anyone to put such a large amount of money down in the current climate, on a product that promises aftercare but offers silence in its place . I just really hope that we don’t experience any further damage before winter really kicks in.

Used Wolverhampton glass a few times over the years, very competitive prices and great standard of work. The 2 lads that fitted our front today were really polite and helpful with advice and cleaned everything up after them.
