P4 were the first company out 6 in total to send me a quote through. We adjusted it to suit our needs, and ended up getting 22 panels and 3 batteries.
The survey was done very quickly, and installation was carried out at a time to suit us.
Absolutely no issues with the guys doing the installation, they were friendly and tidied up and left the site as they found it.
The whole team have been a joy to work with, and we had no issues to resolve at any point. Fred and Peter care about what they do, which is a great asset for the business. Anyone wanting a quote, please let me know, then I could get the referral bonus 🤣👍, and the tree planting scheme is a great idea.

We had a very good experience with P4 Solar. A previous company had told us that you can't install solar panels on stone roofs so we had given up on the idea of having solar. Contacted P4 Solar and Peter confirmed that this is not the case and came round to assess the property and give us a quote. The installation was put back a few days but this was due to availability of parts post pandemic and after a short delay the panels and inverter were installed in the space of a day. Neat and tidy job and all works really well. Since installation Fred's provided good back up and advice too - helping out when we changed internet provider to hook up the system to the new wifi etc. I would certainly recommend P4 Solar.

"Would recommend to anyone"

We started looking for a solar installer around August last year, and really struggled with finding anyone with availability in the Yorkshire area.

Peter replied to our online enquiry and went through everything with us really throughly. He did a site visit and put together a very reasonable quote, and had a decent 4-6 week lead time for installation.

Compared to another national company we also got a quote from, P4 were a lot more competitive, helpful and honest about what we needed.

The installation date did get pushed back a week but Peter was very apologetic and kept good communication with us.

We went with a solar, inverter and battery storage and the installers did a great job in the pouring rain, finishing the work in a day.

The system has been working flawlessly so far, we’re really pleased and would honestly recommend Peter and P4 Solar to anyone.

I would definitely recommend P4Solar for anyone's solar needs. Not only are their solar offerings priced very well but the father -son duo of Peter and Fred are always on hand to answer any queries and to sort out any issues pre, during and post installation. The quality of work undertaken was great. I had a few post-installation minor snags but Fred made sure they were sorted ASAP without any undue delay. Been a couple months since installation for me and it has been working perfectly and I am clearly seen the benefits of installing Solar panels. Thank you P4Solar.

We're a couple of weeks post-installation now. The tech seems to be doing a great job. Looks smart and makes (and stores) a good amount of energy. Early May, and 10 panels are almost entirely supporting a 4 person household with plenty of export to the grid.
We had a couple of snags to iron out, but Peter and Freddie (father and son) have been pro-active in sorting them for us, clearly having pride in their product and an interest in their customers.

The whole process of installing my panels and batteries was excellent. The installation team were very considerate and took my wishes into account whenever a choice was available. Value for money very good. I was always able to contact them when I needed to do so, which meant that I never had any worries about the installation. The system works very well and my electricity bills have been reduced enormously.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them and indeed have done so to my friends.

I've had a great experience with P4! They were easy to talk to and explained everything clearly. Although there were some delays during installation due to roof materials and weather, they quickly rescheduled and made sure everything was done well. Freddie's technical support after installation has been fantastic - he answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable with our new solar panels and also provided advice about the best tariffs to help save money. Overall, I highly recommend P4 to anyone considering solar PVs and battery storage. They were professional and really cared about our satisfaction. Thanks for making the process stress-free!

"Yorkshire based, good kit, sensible prices, good to work with."

I found P4 Solar via a recommendation on a cycle forum. Four companies were suggested by different folk and I contacted them all for quotes and suggested installs. Peter (owner) of P4Solar emailed and then called to discuss options on what I wanted. A couple of companies just wanted to sell me their standard package of c10 panels and a DC coupled inverter and 5 to 7kw battery. Peter however enthused about the AC coupled Lux Squirrel pods which allow much faster charge and discharge rates than most systems. Best of all the importer is in Bradford, so nice to know its local to me in Leeds if needed.
Due to a delay with a commercial contract they were able to fit me in at very short notice (14 days!). Scaffold went up without hitch, and the day of the install came. This was late Feb on the weekend we had the gales. It was unsafe to fit, so with minimal fuss the team rescheduled for start of following week to install. Panels went on with not fuss, a few broken tiles were replaced with identical replacements. The kit is all in the loft. The electrician had a few issues getting the kit connected to the internet but kept going till sorted. I have also had a few user questions that needed me to contact the office. Freddie (Peter’s son) is always on hand to answer and help.
I had some minor delays in scaffold removal, but nothing worth losing a star over.
Overall, I am really happy with the Lux Squirrelpod kit and associated PV gubbins, since beginning of March we have generated more than we have used, so effectively off grid (or at least 80% self generating). With tariffs like Octopus flux a system like mine (E/W facing with 18 panels and 12.8kw of Greenlinx batteries) will pay for itself in less than 8 years and will generate most of our electricity for 8 months of the year.
So thumbs up on the brand of kit, and thumbs up for p4solar as their coms and support and installation has been brilliant.
