"Initial Statement Ring - unacceptable"

I tried to provide photos, but am unable to. Purchased a $70 initial statement ring in august, 3 months later the “gold” is completely tarnished to be pink, my finger is stained green from the poor quality, & the gem fell out within the first month. I don’t wear it to sleep or in water, nor do I wear it everyday. $70 for 3 months of (not daily or even weekly) use - although it started tarnishing 2 weeks into me wearing the ring. Unacceptable.

"Customer service = Gaslighting"

Purchased some necklaces back in Nov 2021 for myself and to gift for the holidays, fast forward to today, I noticed that one of the necklaces that I kept were turning pink in some spots. Curious to know why, since I don't wear this often and take good care of my pieces since I have also worked in the jewelry industry, I contacted TAI's customer service.

They basically immediately said that nothing can be done since your order is over a year old. From Nov 2021 to Aug 2022, it's only been 9 months. When I correct them, they ignore me for a week. When I follow up, they say its now September and your order is nearly a year ago, its been 10 months.

Very interesting to see 1) the lack of care that they have for customers, providing customer service and providing actual solutions/assistance and 2) that TAI does not stand behind its quality AT ALL, and believes that discoloration is normal and acceptable.

Anyways, I'm embarrassed that I gifted these last year, and would advise everyone to stay away. Unless you don't care and enjoy wearing discolored jewelry!

The Evil Eye Ring I ordered shipped quickly and was even better quality than what I saw online. My girlfriend, who I ordered the ring for had seen one similar but they didn’t have her size. She was thrilled with the ring and thought the quality was amazing, even better than the one she originally had seen. The perfect size, not big and horsey like others I have seen.
