We used Discover South America for a trip to Brazil. Heather sorted out our travel around Brazil and found us fantastic accommodation at a good price. She was even happy to advise when we needed help whilst in Brazil. Thoroughly recommended!

"Fantastic service"

I couldn't rate Discover South America more highly. Heather took our brief and came up with an unforgettable holiday that was beyond expectation. She found amazing places to stay and the ground handlers she used were wonderful. From Cusco, to Machu Picchu and onto the Amazon we praised her attention to detail as every transfer went smoothly and we arrived at another incredible location.

Our only complaint is that Discover South America don't organise holidays to other parts of the world!

"Tremendous Trip"

I'd worked in South America in the 80s and was worried about the logistics of taking my family of 5 around in less than 4 weeks. Discover South America took a tremendous amount of the hassle out of the whole process and arranged everything I requested. There were a few hiccups as you might expect but nothing to spoil an excellent holiday that managed to combine relative luxury at times with a real sense of connection with the people and the landscape and the cities. We travelled mainly in Peru and Brazil.

We used this company and dealt with a lady called Heather who very patiently worked with us to create the perfect itinerary for our trip to Peru, Machu Picchu trek and the Amazon jungle. She had excellent knowledge of the areas and was able to offer us many different options and insight into some of the do's and dont's. Our trip went without a hitch of any kind and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering this kind of trip. Customer service was second to none - outstanding.

Heather has extensive knowledge of South America and she arranged the order of our trip to ensure we made the best use of our time. We discussed our preferences for Hotels and she arranged some wonderful places to stay, along with amazing room upgrades. Prices compared much more favourably than other well known companies and everywhere we went people we met were in awe of our itinerary and where we had stayed! We hope to go to South America again and would definitely use Discover South America .

"A fantastic holiday in Peru and Bolivia!"

The service was superb - everything went like clockwork and we enjoyed a really great trip. All our requests were taken into account at the planning stage and whilst actually away we were "looked after" extremely well. Our holiday was, as we wished, a mixture of conducted tours and free time for independent exploration. The hotels were comfortable and clean and attractive and the staff friendly and helpful. All the guides were knowledgeable, very reliable and were always on hand if needed. A great experience - thank you!

"Great service"

DSA were very helpful planning the trip I wanted, making sure it included all my wishes while keeping to the set budget. The trip itself was so easy - being met on arrival and having lots of private tours (I expected more groups so was pleasantly surprised). Only once did the local service provider not appear as planned, but this was quickly sorted by the friendly people on site.

"Amazing trip to Peru"

We contacted Discover South America and a few others after a Google search of holiday company's that offered trips to Peru. Heather came back quickly and answering all of our questions and queries. After a few more emails back and forth we had a rough itinerary agreed, based upon the main areas we wished to visit and also Heather's recommendations. After much more changing of minds on our behalf we were in s position to book, which was also effortless to do. DSA were very good at keeping us informed daily on the number of permits which were available for the Short Inca trail we wanted to do as they knew the previous year we'd missed out and didn't want this to happen again. Leading up to our departure DSA were more than happy to answer any questions we still had and we had every confidence that the trip would run smoothly. Which it did and we had the most amazing time. I would highly recommend using DSA, nothing is too much trouble and they are always there to help.
