LabJack

"Experience with lab and field use"
I have been using LabJack devices for many years now, mainly for small lab testing purposes. More recently we have been incorporating them into an array of radio telescopes for monitor and control and will eventually have 110 deployed. For this we use the T7 OEM version. The devices have so far proven very reliable and cost-effective. Mostly I use the Website for support, but in the few cases where I have needed further information the engineers at LabJack have been both prompt and helpful. An important aspect of LabJack is the careful control of versions so that code can be frozen at a given version or updated, based on good change information. The Modbus interface is robust, Lua scripting is useful (although limited in size), and the hardware accuracy excellent.

"Sweet little gadgets"
I have used several LabJack products, they have all worked as advertised. The drivers and API are logical and usable.

"LabJack"
Very poor software available as in LabVIEW. Software integration is fundamental these days with all third parties software. The whole US university system uses LabView and when they graduate they take it with them .

"Good Quality and Service"
The products were of the highest quality and functioned as advertised. The background support from both staff and web content was excellent. I must however do point out the lack of 3D models for the use in CAD modelling does require some attention to make this an all round excellent solution.

"Fantastic devices, fantanstic support."
I am a novice user that needed a flexible and configurable platform to automate a few simple tasks and collect data from several sensors. LabJack offers a highly flexible a capable platform to do just that, along with absolutely top notch customer service. I was either able to find answers to my questions on the community support page or got a direct answer from a LabJack engineer. These devices have added a whole new dimension of capability to what I am able to do.

"I use U6-pros with Python for DAQ"
I use U6-pros with Python for DAQ. Multiple (20) projects over the last decade -they work great. Response from company, I think I've asked 2 questions, (I like email) is quick, concise and correct. For those complaining about the documentation, I say spend 1 hour "actually" reading the manual and you'll have no problems, EVERYTHING is documented. Good products, high accuracy. I'm still buying them. Tick-products are a bit expensive.

"Excellent DIO boards, good LabView support"
Very nice hardware implementation, easy to use. The screw terminals work well. Labview examples were of high quality and made incorporation into my code straight forward. Devices are capable of complex operations, that said, more simple example code VIs would be helpful.
