"Scammed out of $4024"

On September 15th 2023 I booked four flights using CheapTicketsDeal.com for a total of $4024. I received a text message from my bank issuing a fraud alert. I called CheapTicketsDeal.com to inform them of the fraud alert and they said there were no issues and the purchase had gone through. Then I was asked to complete a survey with links to Google, Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau. Looking at the negative reviews I realized that it was likely a scam. I canceled my credit card and initiated a fraud investigation. I called CheapTicketsDeal.com to inform them and they reassured me it was not a scam by providing a Delta Flight confirmation number and asking me to verify it on the Delta website. Based on that, I withdrew the fraud investigation as I thought I had received Delta Flight confirmation number/e-tickets. On September 26th I checked the Delta app and my reservation was no longer found. CheapTicketsDeal.com claimed that the flights were canceled by Delta. Delta's customer service informed me that the 3rd party that purchased the ticket canceled my reservation and there was nothing they could do.
CheapTicketsDeal.com asked for 24 to 48 hours to "fix" the situation.
I called my bank and started a fraud investigation. I also called CheapTicketsDeal.com and spoke to Adam, he said he would work on refunding my money.

I had been watching ticket prices for a few weeks and could see they were really high. I stumbled upon this site and was able to get a huge discount on the airfare for our itinerary. There was an initial glitch where apparently the advertised offer was no longer available, but I immediately got a call back and was given a very reasonable alternative with very little change in cost. Customer service rep Aishley was extremely helpful.
