Chilliapple have been providing their Gold support package for just over six months and we have found them to be excellent in all respects. Chilliapple have updated our Magento site to the latest version, resolved our outstanding bugs, found a cheaper hosting solution and installed a new payments system. I have worked with a number of different website developers and ChilliApple have been by far the best for a number of reasons:

(1) Their customer service is exceptional – my account manager was Helena, and she was brilliant. She would update me constantly and answer any queries very quickly, usually within a couple of hours!

(2) Their developers also work very quickly. And if there is a delay, I would get an update. They are also very responsive to changes or ideas that I think are important to the site.

(3) As a previous review mentioned, in my experience, the best way to describe ChillApple would be that you’ve gained a reliable team member that will look after your website rather than an indifferent website developer.

"Dismissed 3 months into a 12 months contract"

We hired ChilliApple last year to manage our Magento site and, specifically, to increase page speed. 3 months into the 12 months contract, we had to dismiss them. This is why: bit.ly / 3PGEyA6

A slower page speed, by roughly 2X, nearly made the business fail. Nobody buys from a website that takes that long to load.

In the 3 months: They upgraded the Magento version, put it onto a server of their choice - they were given a free hand to do what needed to be done.

What was so frustrating was the sheer lack of urgency. If I ran a website for a company and page speed slows down to 9 seconds, I would be all over that. For what it is worth, I do not think the technical expertise and experience required exists in the UK or in India.

Why 2 stars? 1 extra star as they are nice people to talk to - they just did not deliver.
