Total Scam company - avoid at all costs

Got sucked into a cheap flight, they entice you via 'chat' feature and only interact via phone with bogus agent. Offer a 'cheap flight, which seems legit as it matches existing Airline operator schedules.
Once agreed, they take a nominal deposit and agree for full balance later. They take a deposit through a secure link and thats where it ends unfortunately.

Luckily i realised afterwards and once i looked into it further I realised they offered not ATOL guarentee, no flight tickets. I spoke with airline directly and they confirmed we were not booked on flights.

I sent x4 separate emails to Palm Flights asking for this information and none were replied to.

I knew it was a sam and luckily i booked through my credit card and they gave good advice on recovering the money. Booking through a credit card will cover you.

I did receive a random email from them about 2 weeks before the scheduled flight offering some flight vouchers due to the flights being cancelled, but the flights were still available as we had already booked directly with Emirates. The email didnt make any sense and when i asked for explanation (via email...always correspond via email to track communication) they didnt reply.

In the end my credit card company recovered my deposit immediately upon the original flight date as they did not fulfil the promised tickets.

I would suspect most of the 'positive' reviews on Trust Pilot are bogus, as they have 1 review, have similar wording and broken english.

Lesson learnt from me and my advice, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. ALso, check the associated companies registered to them as they operate under a couple of other similar travel agents.

On 29th March I've spoken to someone from palmflights.co.uk. I've paid a deposit of £240 to reserve 3 tickets for my family visiting me from my home country. I was very nervous to book a flight through this company because there were many negative reviews on trustpilot (those reviews have somehow disappeared now) but the same person reassured me that if I pay my £240, I pay the remaining on 24th April, they will issue the tickets on 24th itself. The person who dealt with my request was not in on 24th, they placed me in a queue since 24th and when I called on 25th, they said they are placing me in a queue. At 15:00 n 25th, I still hadn't heard from anyone so I called them, the nightmare began. They were suggesting new dates, different airlines and different airports and no need to tell you, they were charging me more than what we agreed on. At this point I want to cancel everything and ask for a refund and when I tried to do that, someone from ticketing, had gone home for the day even though I was on hold for a very long time. The funny thing is, these people are clearly running a mickey mouse company and they get rude and defensive to customers when you ask valid questions. If you start a search on this website, the pricing that pops up are so cheap, and when they actually quote you, its significantly higher! Tomorrow is a new day, I will edit this review based on what happens tomorrow.
Update on 09/06/2023
I have in the end reported them to my bank, and my bank is looking into the matter. I have temporarily received a full refund from my bank while they investigate further and eventually get the money from palmflights.co.uk
