"I have had quite a few Afternoon teas…"

I have had quite a few Afternoon teas and this proved to be one of the best we have had. This was recommended by a relative so I was expecting it to be good. Didn’t get off to a good start when plough were unable to deliver on my chosen date and cancelled the order the day before. This was unavoidable due to illness and being only a small business and I appreciate it can be difficult. Moved order to the following week and was worth the wait. Plough even added a couple of extras for the inconvenience of the cancelled order. A lovely treat and excellent gift if you get stuck for something special. I definitely will be ordering again and won’t wait for a special occasion next time!

"disappointing on the whole for several reasons"

I've ordered several afternoon teas locally online and despite reviews from GetSurrey website was actually a bit underwhelmed. The flowers in the box were a cute touch but there were far too few sandwhiches (literally a sandwhich per person) I wasn't able to eat most of them due to being pregnant. The mince pies had very thick pastry and virtually no filling although were ok to eat once heated up. There was a measly selection of tea (one sachet of English Breakfast Tea each only), and a single cookie for two people. All in all compared with other afternoon teas I've had for a similar price it was somewhat underwhelming unfortunately. I won't be ordering again in the future.

After reading a review in Surrey Live I decided to try out Plough. Ordered x2 cheese boxes, (one as a present), some chutney & eggs. The website was easy to use and my order was delivered a few days later. Very convenient, lovely presentation & value for money. Will definitely be using again.

Personally didn't think it was worth £40.00 .Plus postage. Sandwiches only amounted to round and a half !! Scones were nothing like the picture small and flat and just one tiny jar of jam ? The tea bags was nice tho .
