"Reception person needs to improve his customer care"

Arrived 8.45am for my 9am booked service appointment, reception person took my car paperwork from there rack where he told me car was booked in for 10.30am, I said no it was 9am booked weeks ago, he told me they have no 9am booking slots. I started to get annoyed as i had driven 20 miles + and was going to wait for my car. I went to show him my booking confirmation & reminder on my phone which he turned round and said "don't put the phone in my face" which i never, he just didn't bother to look. I sat down in waiting area waiting for any updates, none came. Other customers came in and were offered tea or coffee and when there car was ready were explained what there car condition was in reporting on any advisories etc, they were then handed the service paperwork and told where there car was parked. When my car was ready the same person came out handed another waiting customer his keys & told where his car was parked, then he came to me handed me my keys & service paperwork and said thank you, no explanation on how the service went and never told me where my car was parked. On getting back into my car I checked the service book was stamped, it was but on the 3rd year instead of the correct 2nd year. Will never use this company again

"First Class Service + Communication"

I recently sold my Stunning Mustang Shadow Edition to Darran Mc Dade at MRG Ford.

I had the car for three years and it had a super low 3,500 miles on it, it was like new and had been cosseted in my ownership, including the annual servicing despite the car rarely being driven.

Darran offered me a great price and dealt with the sale of my car directly, communication was excellent, when it came to settling my finance and paying me out my retained equity the money arrived within minutes of them accepting the car.

First class service from this dealership and Darran.

Went for test drive. Salesman not too push & negotiated a great deal on demonstrator. Saved thousand on at I was considering in Essex.
Hopefully after sales & service will be as good. Covid secure environment

"Avoid this Main Stealer"

We took our Kuga here to confirm that we had a noisy auxiliary (fan belt) tensioner. They rang us and said yes it could be the tensioner but it could be the alternator. They said it would be £380 to replace just the tensioner and belt and if it needed an alternator that would be an extra £800 and the could get the bits in from Form in Bristol the next day. We said ok we will pick the car up and bring it back later. This appeared a very high price for just a simple belt and tensioner. When we collected the car we were charged £132 for just looking at the belt. This sounded a complete rip off but we paid it. Last week we enquired about the quote that they had given to see exactly what we would get for £380 but the service agent said the price to replace the tensioner and belt was only £142 and a very easy job to do. The £380 quoted must have been for Cambelt change. Something we never asked for and had done the year before. I went to see these rip off merchants today to ask if they had made some sort of error charging us £132 to confirm it needed a tensioner and belt. The first service agent was from their Volvo dept and he seemed baffled by the extortionate charge . Then the Ford agent came out and said the £132 was their standard diagnostic charge. These people are obviously desperate for your money and will rip you off. The parts for this belt change cost a mere £70. This is the worst main dealer I have ever experienced in my life and I will now publicise this extortionate rip off garage where ever possible on the Internet. Well done MRG. Another customer you ripped off who will now tell everyone how crap you are...... I am not the only one, many in the area say the same thing about you. And if you want Ford Parts go to Ford Trust First Parts Bristol on South Liberty Lane, where this garage buys them from, and save yourself some money. I expect they will come back with some BS excuse but I wouldn't go near them with a barge pole ever again. .... update. I got the job done at another garage for £65 and the loosers at MRG didnt like my post about them. Tuff ! I tell everyone about them now
