"Highly Recommend Daniel and Latin Discoveries!"

Daniel was amazing. Very easy to work with for our first visit to South America/Peru. We changed our mind multiple times on the schedule, and he was always happy to assist. He was always available, and extremely responsive. I would highly recommend Daniel and Latin Discoveries!

"Totally overpriced"

I am now traveling for more than 30 years and have been exploring the whole world as a photographer. For my last trip I have booked a private tour at a high price level with Latin Discoveries to Chile and Bolivia.

After that trip I unfortunately can‘t recommend that travel agency at all. The tour was totally overpriced. The travel agent Macarena of Latin Discoveries in Chile worked messy and slow, made a lot of mistakes and it seems that she didn‘t have any knowledges of the Atacama area.

Moreover I didn’t get the private services I have paid for in Chile:
- a guide with knowledges in photography
- full day tours with sunrise and sunset - the tours often lasted only half day
- also lunch was included in my private tour I had to take care myself to get to the restaurant while my private driver and guide were enjoying a long lunch SIESTA!!!
- my boarding pass for the domestic flight
- pick-up at the airport was very late

In Bolivia the guide was great and had knowledges in photography and he was available with the driver the whole day but
- I was starving because the food was bad, very low cost and not sufficient
- they sell you high price accommodations and call it „rustic“ but you can’t expect more than some kind of wooden sheds sometimes without light and cold water
- ended up with a 25 years old car luckily me without an accident

Although the Sales Manager of Latin Discoveries, Ms. Bornand confirmed the mistakes you can only expect excuses.

This company is great, would highly recommend! We had an amazing planner who coordinated everything flawlessly and always made themselves available for emails, calls, etc. Our trip to the Galapagos was one of the best vacays we’ve ever had.

"We just returned from a wonderful trip to Argentina & Peru"

We just returned from a trip to Argentina and Peru planned by Latin Discoveries. Daniel, based in Lima, was our primary contact with Daniella, in Buenos Aires, coordinating the Argentina side. Daniel was always available to discuss details of the trip and promptly responded to emails and texts before and during the trip. This was a fully custom designed trip based on our requests. We very rarely use a travel agency since it's usually easier to just book it myself, but I'm so glad we went with Latin Discoveries. They planned all our transportation including airport/hotel transfers, tour transportation, within South America flights and rail travel, booked hotels, and obtained event tickets. They also booked several tours (city, historical, food, wine tours), all with English-speaking guides for us. All of our guides were local, knowledgeable, and nice. All our drivers and guides were always on time and efficient. The hotels were all very nice and the type requested. Amazingly, with all the moving parts, there was not a single glitch in the trip. I cannot praise Daniel/Daniella enough for how well this trip was planned! What a great experience! We highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again!

"Trip to Argentina and Peru"

We just returned home from South America. We don’t frequently use a travel agency but due to multiple stops we needed help with the planning. Our trip included Buenas Aires, Mendoza, Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu. Latin discoveries arranged all flights, transfers, tours, and hotels. Daniel and his crew put all the pieces together without any issues occurring whatsoever. We would definitely use Latin discoveries again and would highly recommend.

"Great Vacation in Peru!"

We had a terrific time in Peru. We contacted Daniel at Latin Discoveries just a few weeks before our set-in-stone vacation time and talked to him about some specific things we were interested in doing while in Peru. A couple of days later, he had whipped up a great itinerary with lovely hotels and amazing guides who made each day a wonderful learning experience. The cost was also very reasonable. The meals arranged through Latin Discoveries were excellent, and they met our dietary requests. As soon as we landed, we were met by a Latin Discoveries person at the airport, and each day went off like clockwork. We really didn't have to do anything other than show up, hike, raft, gaze, explore, eat, enjoy, ask our guides lots of questions about a variety of topics, and listen intently. Any time I had a question about the trip, I texted Daniel, and he answered me promptly. I felt he was reachable should there ever be a problem. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for a vacation in Peru or wherever else they provide travel services.

I had the most amazing, well planned , best taken ever trip in my life, and I travel alot. The tours were very well planned, the guides were amazing always on time. She would always get back to us the same day and was even available for calls. Once I got to Brazil, Morgane was super responsive as she was able to help me with my countless questions. Also checked in on me to make sure I was okay and checked into each hotel with ease. Brazil is simply an amazing place - friendly people, great food, economical and beautiful!
