Lisa has been amazing helping us with a holiday which had to be cancelled at last minute and rescheduled along with looking another new holiday for 2024. Wouks definitely recommend this company both in quality of service and price of holidays in comparison to competitors.

"Dubai food poisoning not bothered"

Booked Dubai 9 nights in NH Dubai The Palm for our wedding anniversary! booking process spot on as we have booked Dubai with them before and loved it.
Customer service for after sales and complaints is abysmal 😡 I contracted food poisoning from the hotel,(this is the only place we had eaten for the previous 72hrs) and was hospitalized, I have all the test results to prove this from both the Dubai hospital and UK hospital tests! ALONG WITH A 16000 AED MEDICAL BILL on our credit card. yes 16000AED yet this company is saying I couldn't have possibly got it from there as they have had no more complaints. The hotel customer turnaround was vast with most people, from what we witnessed, only staying 1,2 or 3 nights so if they had contracted food poisoning would probably not conect it to this hotel after leaving 1 or 2 days before!
I have asked how I can escalate this issue as our holiday was completely ruined having being ill for 5 days of it ,
THEY ARE NOW IGNORING MY EMAILS
Discussed is an understatement 😫

"Pirates"

I booked earlier in the year and the recently got a payment reminder. I checked the price of the holiday and it had reduced significantly. I rang and asked if they would honour the new price and they said no. So I said I would cancel and rebook as I would still be better off if I lost my initial deposit. they said this was not possible as the reduction in price was due to a new offer by the resort and if i cancelled and rebooked I would be black listed by the resort.

Both of these statements are lies. The reduction in the price is due to the USD/GBP rate changing so i contacted the resort directly and they have no policy to black list customers.

I asked for a call back from a manager that took 3 days and when I finally got the call I was told it was a misunderstanding not a lie. Well I have that misunderstanding in writing from Letsgo2 and I also have the correct understanding from the resort in writing.

I get that holidays change price and I was prepared to forfeit my deposit and still be better off but Letsgo2 just did not want to entertain it. In a time when money is tight and everyone is trying to save money I would expect a little compassion not flat out profiteering.

You told me I would be blacklisted by the resort. I emailed the resort and have in writing from them that they have no such policy. if that is not a lie I don’t know what is.

I would also say to anyone reading this review, even after i cancelled with Letsgo2 and they kept my deposit they refused to confirm their costs to justify keeping my deposit but that aside I still managed to save over £600 by cancelling and rebooking the exact same holiday elsewhere. As the USD rate has changed dramatically recently it would be well worth checking the current price of your holiday today because you may save a considerably amount of money even if you forfeit your deposit

"10% surcharge added for "currency fluctuations""

We booked a St. Lucia holiday in Feb 2022 for Dec 2022. Booked early to lock in price. Notified by email on 23 August 2022 that they were adding 10% to price of holiday due to "currency fluctuations".

When challenged they said it was within their terms and we could not have our deposit back. What protection do we have from further increases ? None.

In all my 40 years of booking holidays, I have never experienced this. No other company I have ever travelled with, or am booked to travel with, has done this.

Use them at your risk.

"Wonderful Customer service"

Have booked a holiday to Dubai, due to my husband being ill I have had to made changes to our holiday. Today I spoke to Caroline who was absolutely brilliant, Caroline was so understanding and made everything so easy for me, I cannot thank her enough. She is an absolute diamond . Well done Letsgo2for employing people like Caroline. I am now looking forward to a much needed holiday

"Terrible company making money from the Pandemic"

One member of our party was unable to travel due to a positive pre departure PCR. We have had no help from this company what so ever, the only thing they can say is claim on your insurance. This is despite the fact that the airline have refunded the airfare and the hotel did not charge them for the room.
On contacting ABTA they could not help as this company has not been a member since Jan 21 despite the fact that they show the ABTA certification.

"Really bad customer service"

Really bad customer service. Having used this company to book three trips to Dubai in the past costing thousands of pounds, I called up asking for some recommendations for a trip early next year. The person on the phone couldn't have been less interested in anything I said and cane across as morose and rude. She promised to send me some options s and I've still heard nothing. When I emailed in to explain how disappointed I was, someone emailed me back, again with zero empathy and acknowledgement. Clearly the travel industry, and especially this company, can afford to turn business down at the moment. Avoid at all costs!
