I’ve known James for many years and have always valued his advice and knowledge on clubs and equipment having been fitted by him way back when he was starting out, up to present day with all the advances in TrackMan technology and James’s honest and sound advice always being at the forefront of his fitting, easily explaining the data and offering genuine observations on possible improvements on my game with or without changing equipment

‘I have had regular lessons from James over the last couple of years and my ball hitting has improved immeasurably. I believe TrackMan and Video will be a further great enhancement to both lessons and also custom fitting for golf clubs. Regarding the latter I personally have preferred advice from a club professional like James in preference to buying online or via other commercial outlets’

"Bringing my game to a new level"

2 years ago I picked up the sticks again after many years of ‘society golf’. Knowing James for some years, he was my “go to” professional for advice on new clubs and guidance when getting back into the game. He’s advised me on club fitting, guiding me to those best suited to handicap and style, and when my game was not progressing as expected, I returned to James for lessons. With the use of Trackman and James’ input and knowledge I’ve become more consistent striker of the ball.

I’ve no doubt that James’ tuition advice, together with his friendly and approachable personality, has been instrumental in helping me reduce my handicap from 24 to 14 in the 2 years.

His experience and knowledge from years as a professional golfer combined with his time working for a premium manufacturer is clear to see. He has a real expertise for understanding the swing data produced from the swing monitors and importantly communicates what they mean in a clear and easy to understand manner. His relaxed and friendly approach makes choosing your next golf club a pleasure...thoroughly recommended.

I have been to James for lessons and custom fittings for a number of years now and have never been disappointed.

He keeps his explanations simple and easy for me to understand. With his coaching I have got to my lowest handicap ever this year and will look forward to him helping me to get to single figures. Lessons with the trackman system have been a fantastic addition and no doubt the use of trackman 4 will help even more.

His custom fittings are excellent and his knowledge of the clubs (heads, shafts etc) are second to none. He offers a great service.

I first met James about 5 years ago through my brother who recommended I go to see him to sort my swing out and have not looked back ever since, although I have dipped in and out of golf over the last few years every time I need a lesson I look nowhere else. I’ve recently taken golf back up again after a few years out and went straight to James for guidance, within a few lessons I am almost back to my best; he’s professional, easy going and most of all honest!
