"DO NOT USE RED KITE!!!"
A friend has used this company for his divorce. Communication is shocking. Very expensive with no clear information about what the charges are for. 8 months down the line there is no sign of the divorce happening. Letter received to say they can’t upload documents so have asked his son to do it ( on behalf of his mother) with no explanation about how to do this. Letters from them are all grammatically incorrect.

I paid £900 in August 2024. They have not done anything about the issue that I paid them to resolve, and have not communicated with me since then. They have not responded to any of my emails or calls. Absolutely shocking service, and I am £900 out of pocket.

"UNFORTUNATLY I HAVE TO GIVE 1 STAR. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
I have never experienced so much stress and anxiety from such an incompetent company as REDKITE Bridgend. I had a straight forward question to ask yet I had to pay £150 for a short time spent with the family solicitor. All I wanted was a very simple Will written!, I saw the wills administrator (I have no intention of naming her but she knows who she is) and I was told to write exactly what I wanted, being on a very small pension I used the free will's charity system donating funds to a charity.
The meeting was not very friendly and I was not made to feel very comfortable or at ease, she was very matter of fact which boarded on rudeness the explanations were not very clear and both her and the Family solicitor contradicted each other leaving me even more confused than before I had started.
My will arrived and when I read it I found an additional name had been added and my Grand children omitted altogether then to add insult to injury I was sent a BILL!.
I phoned the office three times and each time I was told everyone was busy and someone would contact me which never happened eventually on the fourth call and explaining I had no intention of paying their bill did I then receive a call back, I was told I had been sent it by mistake and to disregard it (had I not realised and payed it would I have been refunded!!!!) I explained that I was far from happy and the whole fiasco was one big farce from start to finish and that I wished to cancel this and stop it going any further so that I could find a competent company capable of writing a will. I was told I would be contacted within the hour or possibly the following day.... I'M STIL WAITING!... I have now been contacted by someone from head office apologising.

Absolutely avoid this company at all costs. I've had the most stressful 5 months dealing with poor customer service and incompetence. There have been multiple errors that have cost me thousands of pounds and I will be taking this further.

communication is poor and replies to emails take weeks if not months. Then they don't even address concerns. I've been treated very poorly by this firm. My legal rights are ignored. They refuse to provide up to date accounts. Very poor solicitor indeed.

Redkite Stonehouse, very poor communication no responses to emails, calls etc. At the initial meeting the solicitor had not even read the will and was clueless. AVOID !.

"An awful experience"
A horrible experience when Redkite Stonehouse acted for my mother on a recent flat purchase, only exacerbated by their Ledbury office acting for the vendor. A cash purchase which really should have been done quickly and without fuss. No client care, poor communication, phones not answered, emails not replied to, constant unnecessary delays, no focus, no sense of urgency, insufficient partner supervision. When they actually needed to give some legal advice (right at the end of the transaction after months of delays) it was slow to appear, incomplete and of poor quality. And despite that, they issued an ultimatum: release us from all liability under the relevant statute or we will immediately cease acting for you. The purchase would have been lost. We had no choice. Shocking.
