We booked our trip with Dean at affordable luxury travel when the company we originally booked with went into administration. We had booked for our wedding in the Maldives and Sri Lanka as our honeymoon as it's safe to say we were very worried when the original company went bust! We sent Dean our Itinerary and what we had payed and he put our minds at ease straight away. He got us the exact same package as before for an even better price- I thought it was too good to be true! But it absolutely was true. Everything was perfect. I have not one fault. Dean was great with all my questions and the holiday was unbelievable the hotels were out of this world. My wife and I have recently booked a 13 night holiday to Singapore & Borneo for May 2026. I looked at several travel suppliers and found that ALT were value for money at the price I paid compared to the others on offer. I had the fortunate pleasure of Mr Robert Bhatia who assisted me in helping to put the itinerary I wanted together. Robert had done a lot of work in the background in trying to get deals and discounts here and there, and after a week or two was able to present me with the exact itinerary I had dreamed of. Having been on many holidays worldwide, I feel that its not about the price tag, but the locations and the quality of the hotels. You get what you pay for and in our case we went for the high end hotels paying a little extra over our original budget. After all its the luxury that can make a dream holiday and I wish to thank Robert for his help and patience in putting the holiday plan in motion. We are now looking forward to our dream in 2026. Regardless of whether we follow through with this particular booking I just wanted to give a special mention to Mason- he has been thorough and patient, adressing each of my questions and requests as they arise and it is very refreshing indeed. He is a credit to the company and these days customer service is so often lacking.

We have just spent a wonderful 2 weeks travelling around beautiful Kerala, staying in 6 hotels and 1 night in a houseboat. Our favourite resorts were Fragrant Nature Kochi, Windermere River House and Marari Beach Resort and there were many highlights including the Blue Jelly houseboat and Munroe Island boat trip which were excellent.
Our driver was always on time, ensuring we reached each resort at the right time and even giving us beer for the houseboat! Only slight disappointment was his English was more limited than expected. The agent in Kerala kept in touch throughout which was reassuring and he promptly answered any questions we had during our trip.
We will certainly look forward to booking our next trip with ALT.

Queenie the coordinator was fantastic, very helpful and changed times as we requested.
All the guides and driver were on time and helpful. Special mention to An in Hanoi who helped me with some meds. She was a pleasure to be with. Bean the guide in Hochimin never stopped talking, bless him. Just needed a little quite on the boat for ambience, but thanks anyway. The Coffee experience was a waste of time in my opinion, but that's just me.

Excellent two week holiday in south India - excellent hotels, lovely cuisine, plenty of interesting sight seeing and a very safe and reliable driver in a brand new AC car made this a memorable holiday.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Kerala, arranged by Sarah at Affordable Luxury Travel.
Our holiday involved a tour that took in Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey and Kollam, ending with a few days at the beach in Kovalam. The tour gave us a great insight into this beautiful area of South India, and the pace left us feeling that we had seen a great deal whilst remaining relaxed.
Everything went very smoothly, all the hotels were excellent – very comfortable, lovely rooms, friendly staff and good food; the overnight stay on a riverboat was equally impressive.
There was good communication between the hotels, trip coordinators and our driver with phone calls whilst enroute to check arrival time etc, this was all very reassuring. We were also regularly contacted by Affordable Luxury Travel’s ground agent, Pratheesh, to check everything was going well, which was appreciated. Our driver, Mohan, was always on time, polite, friendly and kept the car clean and well stocked with water and sweeties. Travelling with Mohan was a very comfortable experience.
We have no hesitation in recommending Affordable Luxury Travel and hope that we will find another holiday with them to tick off our bucket list.
