I didn't save as much money as I thought. I was having trouble getting the dates I when searching on my own. They were able to get the exact dates I wanted and very quickly.

I was quoted a good price from one office then a higher rate from the NYC office then couldn't get the original rate . I was asked what I was prepared to pay & specifically advised in Australian dollars , but was charged in USA dollars on my credit card ,yes eventually I was credited back $500 but just left me not really trusting the whole system .
To make matters worse the airline I was booked with told me my ticket could be cancelled on the day , if the airline pulled their airline miles out . A little worrying when connecting flights involved .
The end result was I saved about $500 if I'd booked the flight direct online a day before my departure ....
