"Great value hard shelled cabin bags"

My wife and I bought 2 Aerolite cabin bags to avoid paying for hold luggage on a long haul flight with BA. This review follows on from that trip. The bags are right on the size limit for cabin luggage but we had no problems taking them on board and stowing them in the overhead lockers on the window side. They're easy to manoeuvre and strong enough to protect the contents however the telescopic handle did get stiff when under pressure from the contents of the case. The integrated zip lock worked well and although these are cabin bags they are big enough to use as general suitcases so a very useful feature. Overall we're very pleased with the function and quality of these cases, only time will tell on the longevity but there is nothing to suggest they won't give us years of service.

Some advice before purchasing this cabin bag/case. All pictures in advert show it as free standing, but it just falls flat to the floor unless supported by a wall/chair etc. Very misleading .
