The unit worked well for the first 5 years the it got clogged up and could not maintaine the correct tempeture. I have bought a new unit and it seam to be working well. WhisperKOOL tells me it can be repaired so I want to send it back so i can have a spare unit.

"Unit would not start up"
Unit would not start up. Found loose factory wire nut that wires had slipped out of. Tried to call for service and was informed to leave message. Not good when you have a tech on site trying to figure out and repair. Time is money.
Left message at 1:00 PM on 11-27-19 and did not receive a call back.
Whoever wired in the 24V thermostat conversion kit probably caused the problem at the 110V terminal strip.

I’ve owned several units over the years and have had some success. However, the latest one they sent me was a lemon. They believe that cooling to 71°, less than a 10° variance from the outer room, is acceptable. They wouldn’t give me a full credit for the broken unit. Charged me 25%. A nightmare of poor customer service and unfortunately cheaply built products.
A lesson learned. Never again.

"Frustration"
I have had nothing but trouble with my units. The first one consistently failed to cool sufficiently despite having technically more capacity than required. The replacement unit appeared to already have mold in it and still failed to cool. It was suggested that I purchase a larger max unit. This unit cools but the control panel doesn't work. I have spent a lot of money installing three of these units, including twice paying for shipping, and still I do not have a workable unit. This seems ridiculous to me. I
