I have to admit that my first experience with these folks was a little dicey. The ebook I ordered had some pretty funky formatting. Not their fault and they gave me a refund right away. Ever since then I have used them pretty much exclusively. I do what ever I can to not shop at Amazon and they always have what I need. For me the key is using Calibre ebook management software so I don't have to be tied to Adobe's lame reader. This way I can load my books from ebook.com on my Kindle (which... as much as hate to admit it is the still the best reader) without having to invest in Jeff's off world exit strategy. It's one more step but it's really not very difficult. To be honest having multiple propriety ebookstores and readers was really annoying. Now I use eBooks.com and I get the satisfaction reading what I have paid for where I want and not supporting Amazon. I do think they could spruce up their website a little... but it's not that important.
