I got a call on December 2nd that my new 8 yard, 'Scottish-made' wool kilt was in (made in cooperation with USA Kilts and their desire to help support kilt makers in Scotland during the Covid crisis), so I set up an appointment and stopped in to pick it up.

It's absolutely stunning!

I will note that I took a few moments to try it on while I was there, and I found it a tad on the large side around the 'true waist'.

The phenomenal kilt makers made a 'while I wait' adjustment to the buckle locations, and now it's perfect!!

As has been the case every time in my 15+ years as a loyal USA Kilts customer (I now have 6 kilts from USA Kilts) - absolutely top notch quality, and service that is second to none 🙂

"Top Notch Products and Great Staff"

Absolutely top notch products and great staff. I docked one star because they aren't perfect, albeit as close as any company gets though.

On one of their videos they clearly mentioned that you could call in to charge a measurement on a Kilt. I ordered a PV online later one evening. The next morning I decided with my weight loss regimen, I better drop my kilt measurements by two inches. I called, they were very courteous and stated the original bill would still have the ordered measurement but, it would be the new measurement I had called in.

Well a few weeks later the Kilt arrived and it was at the larger original order size. I mistakenly posted about it on their FB page and got a big of blow back from the group needlessly jumpiyto their defense. One guy said how can I expect them to hit a moving target? I unfortunately mentioned my weight loss and got blamed for the error. There was no damned moving target, I ordered late at night, called the next morning and my request for list in the shuffle. Yeah it was only a small PV Kilt order so they didn't make a lot of bucks. This kilt is wearable, just barely and after the BS on the FB group I just let it go. I still highly recommend, this was an honest oversight and I caused it by the wrong order size in the first place. Just want to be clear to folks, make sure you order correctly because after the fact changed y, even just hours later can't be counted on.

The great quality and craftsman ship of these items combined with the out standing customer service has made me a #1 fan of this company. I am looking at my new sporran right now and being a leather craftsman; I can say, I seriously appreciate and envy the skill of these people. The sporrans quality is great and I know from experience in sewing leather, it will last for years to come. I will also support this company for years to come.
