Buying complete formal kilt outfit is a decision not to be taken lightly. The cost, no matter where you buy, if you want the "real" thing is no small measure so you want it right the first time. I got this with USA Kilts. I personally drove a few hours one-way to be measured correctly and to pick out my accessories. When the kilt finally a on the date promised, I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the quality of the product. I have since returned to USA Kilts and bought a doublet to go with my kilt, so now I have two very different jackets to select from, depending on the affair. When you are ready to make this kind of purchase, you must visit the store personally if you can. It will be worth the trip!

I have two 5 yard kilts and one custom weave 8 yard tank. I have also purchased a tweed jacket and vest set which always receive rave reviews. I've bought a variety of products from USA Kilts: semi-traditional PV Kilt (Macneil of Barra tartan), belts, buckles, sashes, a kilted skirt for my wife. Everything was delivered either on or ahead of schedule. The quality of the custom items (the kilt and skirt) is outstanding. I will definitely be a returning customer. Being a bit south of them in Maryland, I hope to actually visit the store someday too.

I've ordered from USA Kilts a few times. I've ordered a sporran, a Prince Charlie jacket and waistcoat, as well as part of a run of a custom weave of tartan. Each time the service has been fantastic. The only issue I've had was a flaw in the tartan weave - which was obviously the fault of the weaver rather than USA Kilts - and the folks at USA Kilts took care of that rather quickly.

When the garment arrived, there was an issue with the vest which was immediately addressed and resolved to everyone's satisfaction. I am thoroughly pleased with the kilt and other products purchased from USA Kilts. I was nervous with making my first kilt purchase online, but Rocky was reassuring and professional. He made sure I was ordering what I wanted, and communicated throughout the process. I now have a band kilt from another source, and the USA Kilt is far superior. You can buy kilts from others, but you can't get the same quality.

USA kilt's products are seriously the best quality and most comfortable well made product for its price, particularly in regards to the casual kilt. Their products really live up to the standards they set and the descriptions try give of them. They have been a pleasure to work with as well. Their products are extremely sturdy and long lasting too. For a nice looking casual kilt that can easily be dressed up, there is no better product for its price.

I have only two suggestions for USA kilts that could improve their products. One is to offer box pleats as well as knife pleats. If tradition is their prime motive, then box pleats should be an option. The second recommendation is to offer hip pockets built in if possible. I like being able to not have to wear a sporran all the time.

I have 5 kilts from USAkilts. I have 3 casual kilts 1 Semi-traditional and one 5 yard wool. My casual kilts are my summer go to kilts. comfortable and easy to care for and great fitting. I use my Semi-traditional and 5 yard wool for my nicer occasions. Rocky and his staff are wonderful to work with.There are a lot of kilt merchants out there that sale off the rack kilts, but for something made to measure you can't go wrong with USAkilts. Just remember you get what you pay for.

When I first heard of USA Kilts the talk was all "too good." They must be shilling for themselves to get such positive reviews. It was a year later when I ordered my first USA Kilt and found out why the reviews were so positive. Quality and service at a fair price. You can't do better than that. Plus, they're nice people - human beings that treat others like human beings. They answer their phone. They respond to emails. Since that first kilt order back in 2005 I've purchased a total of 14 casual kilts, 13 semi-traditional kilts, and 2 five yard wool kilts. I'm no USA Kilts groupie. I've ordered 51 other kilts from 9 other kiltmakers. But I've owned more kilts from USA Kilts than from any other kiltmaker. And I'm an intelligent, aware adult with a master's degree and multiple professional licenses. Fair warning. If you buy one you'll probably be hooked.
