"Fantastic Service Once Again."

I have used the services of this company three times now.

The last time was a couple of years ago to have all four wheels refurbished on my other car, so when I caught this new car (White Audi TT with 19 inch Alloys.) on a kerb by accident at work, they were the first people I thought of.

They have moved now to Aldridge, but it's easy to find and access.

I dropped in on Tuesday, they took the two wheels off and popped on some temp ones, so I could get going. (They spotted damage on the rear whell I missed. Thanks.)

Called me on Wednesday and I went back to have the originals that had been smart repaired to such a great standard that I coulden't tell anything had been damaged.

Great service, great team, and great prices.

I genuinely recommend, and will use them again if the need arises without hesitation.

Had all 4 wheels done the same day. A very efficient and professional service. It was explained to me that it sometimes takes longer than expected to remove the old paint from the wheels, which would mean that the job would run into a second day, but this wasn't the case with my wheels. The job was finished by 5pm and the wheels bolts were given a final tighten with a torque wrench.

I cannot explain how disappointed I am with this company. Based on high recommendations from friends I traveled over an hour to visit this facility to have my wheels refurbed.

Firstly I would like to say those who worked in the shop were very friendly and polite. However this is where the positivity ends.

Firstly, on the website, a rough 3 day turn around is advised. I dropped off two sets of wheels (one for me and one for a friend). My friends wheels took three days. My wheels took closer to three weeks until completion.

Following picking up the wheels and taking them home, I took a closer inspection. The wheels were refurbed awfully! There were parts clearly not prepped properly and dull marks under the paint. You could still see curb marks on the wheel under the paint.

I was not too happy with this so I sent a polite email regarding my concern. I was told that this was due to the corrosion on the wheels. This was the reason I was having the wheels refurbed in the first place!

This debate took me two months to complete. I finally got refunded for one of the four wheels. I was not particularly happy with this, but at that point in time I was happy to get anything back as it had taken so long. I accepted my loss and moved on.

I’d also like to point out I was told I had 12 months warranty on the refurb, I put this complaint in the day I received the wheels from them. So I can’t even imagine what it would be like doing it later along the line. This brings me to my next point…

Here I am 10months after picking up my wheels and the paint is starting to come off the wheels where the corrosion that wasn’t originally sorted to begin with is catching up with it. The wheels have never been curbed and no cleaning products have been used on them.

I am beyond devastated as I paid a pretty penny to have these wheels refurbished. I do not like writing negative reviews but this was justified!

"Very happy with the service from…"

Very happy with the service from Wheelfurb Tamworth. Keith took his time to give me advice on what colour to change to from OEM silver. Chose same day service and couldn’t be happier with the result. The gloss black wheels look brand new, not a blemish anywhere on them and the powdered finish looks like they’ve been wet-sprayed. Had lots of positive comments from friends and neighbours. Really recommend this place and have done so already.

"Extremely disappointed with the quality of the work"

I will not be using Wheelfurb again. I had some alloys that needed a refurb and thought I would give this company a go instead of going to my usual place....

The work was carried out to an extremely poor standard. The wheels had been blasted and the curb rash had been filled in but none of the other imperfections on the wheel were removed. There is still corrosion on the face of the wheel that is visible through the powdercoat.

The wheels were lacquered but the surface wasn't cleaned properly so there is 'debris' (dust particles etc.) that are all very clearly visible under the lacquered surface.

There was also a complete lack of communication and I had to chase for updates on two separate occasions.

And a final note - when you give the wheels back to the customer, surely it makes sense to give the wheels a quick wipe down so they aren't covered in grease and oil marks??

Once again a fantastic effort from Tommy/i Brandon, and Jack. This time it was a spare full size alloy, but as usual the guys did an amazing effort making the rim a wheel to be proud of!! It went in looking desperate and emerged magnificent!! I will certainly be returning shortly for a refurb on my mini wheels!! Once again, thanks guys and keep up the good work!! Finally a business which offers consistent level of workmanship and excellent customer service.

I used the guys over at Wheelfurb to change the colour of my alloys on my A35 after a previous refurbishment failed and I was unhappy with the finish I can safely say Wheelfurb hit the nail on the head with getting them looking exactly how I wanted them the colour is perfect fully recommend them

Fantastic refurbishment of my mum's old Audi TT wheels. I was delighted with the OEM wet spray finish. After most refurbs you can spot the odd imperfection, be that contamination of the lacquer or other flaws, but not from 'Wheelfurb Tamworth'....just beautifully finished flawless rims!!! The guys literally restored the wheels back to as new condition and my mum couldn't have been happier with the result.

Brandon and Tommy were absolutely superb throughout the whole process and kept me up to speed with the refurbishment process at all times. It's nice to find a wheel restoration business that not only have a passion for cars but also take pride in their work.

The rims are not back on the car yet as it is still away undergoing restoration but as soon as it returns I will post some images of the completed wheels. All I can say at this point is that even in their raw state without tyres; they look amazing!! I will be recommending my friends to 'Wheelfurb' and will definitely be returning for further refurbs in the near future.

"Very pleased overall"

Sorry to see some bad reviews but I can only comment on my experience. Dropped my car at Dudley for respraying all four wheels to silver. Collected at end of day, one centre cap had broke when they took it off but they replaced straight away. Yes there was some oily marks on the wheels that I needed to wipe but other than that I am very pleased with the finish and the price. Just a bore I had to travel to Dudley as Kidderminster isn't doing one day jobs at the moment.
