"Buy your own Gas Safe servicing contract"

Please please….if your boiler is due for a service then ensure you have a contract with Scottish power or someone else,
As previous posts I too cannot find the company or Joseph Clayton, I have since found out that he is no longer Gas Safe registered though he was back in Oct 2023 when my boiler was installed.
I ended up in AE due to possible carbon monoxide poisoning as flue had come apart in the loft so I was very lucky.
I am in the process of taking this further as I never received the A4 service/handbook with the benchmarks prior to them removing the old system and replacing with the new.
Let’s say from a very charming man Joseph I am extremely disappointed that he doesn’t adhere to his own terms and conditions
I’m unable to give ‘0’ stars as he doesn’t deserve 1

"Be warned."

Under their previous name this company installed a new boiler but failed to register an additional 3 year guarantee despite us paying for it. After many requests they did eventually refund us the money paid. Like another poster has mentioned, we too were promised 3 years of servicing, but making contact with them to do that has proved impossible. We’ve rang all the various numbers, left messages, had emails returned as their details are incorrect, but no response. Under a policy we have with Corgi, they came to service the boiler instead and they have issued a yellow warning ‘DO NOT USE’ as the retention clips that attach the front panel have been incorrectly fitted. All we want from this company, is for them to come out and sort it out, but their after sales is dreadful. We have been patient over about four weeks of trying but that patience has now run out. To anybody thinking of using this company, be careful. They were great up to and including payment but after that they’re awful. I’ve given them 1 star as zero isn’t an option.

"Impossible to contact anyone"

Impossible to contact anyone. Email doesn't work, phone number/numbers don't work. Had our boiler fitted last year by this company. Recently had a Service by a local company and a fault was found with the fitting of the boiler. Now declared unsafe. Minor issue to fix but unable to get through to Joe's company for help.

"Poor Customer support and Service"

My boiler was installed by Joe's sub-contractor last year when he was trading as JC Plumbing, and Heating before he rebranded, this included 3 yearly free servicing. I've attempted to call and message his mobile which is still active and his new landline number at the same address, without success, so will now need to pay for some one else to service boiler to keep warranty valid.

"This company has put my new boiler and…"

This company has put my new boiler and pipes last month, now it's not working and my house is leaking where they put the pipes since Friday, I emailed them and called Ian and Joseph they are not responding, I have called the office number they not answering, I am stuck after paying them thousands last month and they haven't register my boiler either when Joseph came he said he will do it in two weeks, it's over 7 weeks nothing, now they not taking my calls, not responding to my emails on whattsap, on Facebook.

Best company I have ever used joe the boss is a gentleman in every way l had a new boiler fitted in a day no mess at all joe has a great team that works for him don’t bother with the rest of the cowboys use this company if you want the job done right

"Boiler install…"

The initial survey was with Ian a knowledgeable and very polite person and the quote was pretty good as well
The install went very well except that there was a gas pressure issue that Phil the engineer found and could not commission the boiler.
Phil took up the case with Cadent and after a few heated exchanges got the issue resolved and we now have a lovely warm house.
I can't speak highly enough of my experience with the Utilities group, Joe in the office always polite and keeping me informed.
But especially Phil the engineer, without his experience and contientiousness we probably wouldn't have got it sorted.
A great job and a big thank you to Phil.

"Home survey and quote"

Craig came out to do a home survey and quote for a new boiler , he was punctual, respectful of my home and listened to my wish list/needs. He answered my queries and had a quote prepared within minutes. Since then Emily has followed up with calls and kept in touch ( Thankyou) as has Joseph. Both have been helpful in adding further details and reassessing for different boilers. They have all been very knowledgeable and helpful which is much appreciated when making decisions on things I knew very little about.
