"Cask Whisky went into insolvency"

Just provide some words of advice to a customer of Cask Whisky. After my advice I googled the firm and this was the 2nd hit:

Their website is currently 'customer login' only but be aware of the names involved for the future.

All affected, good luck!! Hopefully you all have actual DO's (Delivery Order) in your name and not just a receipt/invoice and "Cert of Ownership" (which most likely means nothing at all for the warehouse).

This company just went into liquidation. Bunch of fraudsters. Stay away. Please pay money back for your investors else you will rot in hell. Especially you Aaron and Craig Arch, calling yourself CEO by losing all the money of your investors and does not have the decency to update or talk to them.

Putting up this review as a warning that this company may well be purely a fraud. Have received emails allegedly from the City of London Police, advising that they are under investigation.
Those emails might not be genuine, but there must have still been a data breach for them to know I am a client. AVOID!!
Will happily remove this review if it turns out yo be genuine, but it's not looking good

"Bad experience"

I invested in 2023 and due to change in my personal circumstances I had requested for withdrawal. It's been 6 months almost and the only update I get is they are trying to sell and thousands of excuses. Please avoid at any cost. You never know when you might need the money back. They treat you so well as long as you do not request your money back. Once you do request, they start to ignore or reply aggressively. I'm still waiting for money back. I don't know what else to do :( Overall bad experience. Wouldnt never invest again!

Aaron is very aggressive and will not leave you alone after investing, he has done this to a family member for over a year. Just like the previous review mentioned he will hound you until you avoid his calls!

The team at Cask Whisky was very helpful in providing me with a great experience. Initially reached out due to interest on alternative assets and was provided with amazing and helpful information which lead to me proceeding and purchased a cask through them. I later had to sell the cask due to an emergency and Aaron and the team at Cask Whisky were very helpful in processing the sale of my cask in an ample timeframe.

Please go elsewhere I purchased a cask for £5350 pounds 2 years ago with Aaron who constantly hounded me to buy more and promised me complimentary bottles that never transpired, after 2 years I was told the cask was now worth just over £6000 not bad. I had a new build to complete and had a motorcycle accident so decided to cash in the cask and other investments I had to get me over a difficult period, imagine my surprise then when I was told after waiting for them to get an “offer”.
After 8 months the offer was £5000 so instead of £600 up I was £350 down they then took two more months to pay me the £5000 in three instalments with very unprofessional excuses like “forgetting” and “mistake”.
I dealt with everyone including the CEO who was just as unprofessional, please do yourself a favour and don’t invest with this company, the house is sold now and I can tell you who I won’t be investing with, disgusting way of treating investors. Sorry did I not mention i am a senior NCO veteran with high integrity, I find your reply in need of a dictionary. There is no mention of the promised bottles ? And I was harassed by Arron after the sale for more sales actually, I agreed on the sale because it took you eight months to sort out, I also have the emails to prove your “payment errors” should anyone be interested, CW it is so much easier to be truthful. this company is nothing sort of a scam, please do not deal with them.

Well this is my first go at investing in whisky. Having spoken to Jack and Aaron they have both talked me through the process and have been very helpful and informative. They have also invited me along to meet them. Have I done the right thing in investing in whisky? Only time will tell, and hopefully profit will follow.

The staff are very helpful, no question seems too small to answer and they try very hard to put your mind at rest. Very knowledgeable about their product, good selection. Keen to really help you choose a good investment for your needs. A little “ hard sell/ pushy on occasion but not too bad.
