"Scratch Plate Way Out Of Spec"
Just tried to fit custom pick guard and its way out of spec. Pics were taken today and lined up 1 screw hole with others way out of spec as well. Half moon shape at selector / volume plate is 3mm out and is also 3mm out at horizontal cut away at bridge plate. lined up screw hole at neck and every other screw hole is also 3mm out of spec. Company not answering e mails. Today was the first chance to fit it and for the money paid, disappointed doesn’t come close and looking for refund to suit.

"Wonky plectrums, no response"
Ordered some picks. Design was OK but all wonky and non-centred. You could even see a black outline on the edge of the pick template on a large batch of plectrums. Whole batch ruined.
Q&A non-existent. No care for detail (as of late). Previous orders were great but not any more. No response from seller anymore. Basically refused to help me or even address the situation. Very sad.
Used to think this company was very reliable but I'm sorry to say that I cannot recommend them to anyone anymore.

I ordered a custom guitar for a leaving pilot of our unit in the air force on 5th of September. His farewell will be next week on 2nd of October. I told the company that the guitar was supposed to be a gift, that I wanted to get a status update of my order and I also wanted to know if we will get the guitar until his farewell.
After lots of unanswered requests about my order it got cancelled today. No cashback and no guitar for a leaving comrade.
I never had such a bad experience with any other company. Thank you for nothing.

The refund is made but that takes about 2 days. The picks were already send out. Also wrapping a guitar takes about 3 weeks.

Just send me the guitar and reply to my requests instead of ignoring me and withdrawing your offer. Still terribly disappointing.

"Not 100% happy......."
I designed my picks relatively easily but the material I wanted was not available in the shape I wanted - for many years I have used 1.52mm Acetyl, equilateral triangle custom printed picks from Clayton USA. OGP call this shape 'bass pick' and the max size 1.5mm in celluloid. I abandoned celluloid in the '90s as, with luck, they last one gig and cover the guitar in powder. However, I wanted some promo picks, so not really an issue. The picks are pretty good in reality, except I would have liked a 'proof' of what the pick would look like - part of my design (black signature on a white background) now looks washed out and virtually invisible. I'm happy with the rest. I chose Own Picks due to the speed of delivery and because it has a "co.uk" extension, naively believing that this implied GB VAT registration - eBay do it and the European side of that enterprise is also based in The Netherlands - so my order of vanity picks at about £1 each has resulted in a significant hike once VAT and Royal Mail's 'handling charge' has been factored in - and for something I'm not 100% happy with. The speed of delivery was also slowed by the tax collection process. So, it's back to Clayton for picks that don't wear out........

I enquired with a tight turnaround and he did his best to speed up the process for me. Being a small order, he was able to print a small run of double sided plectrums in double quick time and get them shipped for me.
I look forward to receiving them and will use again in future!

Cannot understand all the bad reviews this company has. I ordered custom plectrums (different print on each side) a week ago to be sent to me here in the UK.. At first I was a little worried as I hadn't had even a "order recieved" email, so I contacted the company directly. I immediately had a reply from Michael Kenis CEO, not a generic one, but one answering my specific queries.. He advised me to check my spam box.. there they were! Two emails, one confirming my order and the other giving me tracking information. One week later and the postman was pushing them through my letterbox.. PERFECT, 100% satisfied. Will definitely be ordering again. Makes a lot of the bad reviews a little suspect! Thank you Michael Kenis and Own Guitar Picks

"Let me tell you a tale of woe"
After placing a successful initial order of 100 NFC guitar picks I placed a follow up order for 250 picks (note this number carefully).
I placed the order on the Wednesday 28th March. Paying an additional £35 for expedited delivery - within 48 hours.
The first order had arrived within 48 hours, so I'd hoped for this order to make it just in time before the Friday to Monday (inclusive) holiday break in the Netherlands.
The order did not arrive and appeared to be stuck in a pending state on their site.
I tried contacting the company. Leaving 4 voicemails sending 3 emails with no response.
Eventually I manage to stir them to life by commenting on their instagram posts asking them to get in touch.
The order was eventually dispatched last Friday (3rd April). 9 days after it was placed.
The company still charged me the full next day delivery charge. No offer refund the now obsolete 48 hour delivery.
Despite the web domain being in the UK the company has no UK tax status and the deliveries to the UK will be counted as imports. This means you should expect an additional tarriff charge. There is no mention of this at checkout so beware. I had to pay an additional £65 for DHL to complete the delivery, by this stage it was 10 days late.
To add insult to injury only 197 of the 250 picks that I had paid for were contained in this package. 198 if you include one pick printed on totally different much lower quality plastic.
Note: I'd payed the import tax on all 250. So £15+ sacrificed to the customs gods.
I've seen this company dismiss these complaints and claims off handedly. I can evidence every statement in this review. Please contact my twitter social is 0xjck if you it would be helpful for me to share.
