"Avoid Tetrad until their problems with supply delays are fixed."

We ordered an armchair 5 months ago to go with the sofa we already have from them. 5 weeks delay and there is still no guaranteed delivery date. The sofa we ordered in August last year was also delayed so may be we should have known better. We were originally impressed that the pieces are hand-made to order. Lead time is advertised as 3-4 months. But then the subsequent lack of supply chain management, delay after delay, and total failure in transparent communication has destroyed any confidence we have in the brand. The retailer we used took 50% deposit and is now caught in the middle with delay after delay by Tetrad. Why does the customer in the UK have to bank role retail and manufacturers and be treated with such a lack of respect.

"Best to avoid Tetrad"

This company sells second hand sofas as new. After a 4 month wait I am out-of-pocket, back to square 1 without a sofa and bitterly disappointed. When my expensive Bowmore Compact sofa was delivered I noticed the hessian covering the bottom was rucked up at 1 corner. There were 8 black marks on 1 side of the seat, the largest, the size of a pound coin. The Harris Tweed fabric showed signs of wear and it was a softer sit on that side of the sofa.

This sofa had already been used. It was dirty, showed signs of wear and I suspect the previous owner had returned it to the manufacturer as faulty, then it had been mended through the base and sent out to me as a brand new item.

Fortunately I purchased through a reputable retailer who immediately took the sofa away and gave me a full refund. I wanted to give my custom to a UK manufacturer and this is the result. They are a disgraceful company passing off second hand goods as brand new. Take your business elsewhere.

"Have ordered over £3000 worth of Harris…"

Have ordered over £3000 worth of Harris a chair was the same as another reviewer that the loose cover was too loose. Both arms also appeared to collapse. They sent 2 so called experts who said they couldn’t do anything and would report back. We never heard back and customer services were not helpful.
They have a design fault with the chair but will not admit it.
DON’T DEAL WITH THEM THEY ARE A SHOWER

"Replacement seat cushion covers on 15 yr old sofa"

I ruined the heavy weight chenille seat covers on a 15 year old Tetrad sofa. Tetrad managed to source the original fabric and provide replacement seat covers. I would have given five stars if it hadn't been a 4 month wait. However, I am really grateful that I haven't had to replace all the other matching cushion covers. It was worth the wait. It obviously pays to buy quality furniture.

"Factory shop unbelievably poor attitude"

Just tried to buy a sofa from the factory shop, apparently no delivery, done through third party which you have to arrange yourself & because I couldn't take delivery within a fortnight not interested in my grand, despite the fact it's been sitting there for over a month?
What a joke, taking my business elsewhere

"Poor quality products"

I purchased 2 x Tetrad Harris Tweed Dalimore Accent Chairs and a footstool from Brenthams in Pitshanger Lane Ealing. They were delivered and the leather was puckered up on the side of both chairs, and the seat cushions kept slipping forward. They sent in an upholsterer who, after looking at it said he couldn’t repair on site. (He was surprised when I mentioned how much they cost £1200 each). Replacement were ordered. They arrived and I then noticed that one of the casters from the footstool and one on the chair looked bent. They had been screwed in bent. They sent me some replacement casters. The feather filled seat cushions are not comfortable and I asked them if they had better inserts, they suggested I contact the supplier. the ones supplied, need to be turned over and pumped up 3 or 4 times a night. Their customer care is akin to Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers. I really wish I had read the reviews beforehand as they products suppled is really poor quality. I am really disappointed with their workmanship. DON’T TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE!!

"I wouldn’t buy another sofa made by Tetrad"

I wouldn’t buy another sofa from the manufacturer Tetrad. Delays in delivery, feather cushions not full enough and keep collapsing. They say they need turning and plumping up everyday, this is ridiculous and not acceptable for the price you have to pay. There’s clearly not enough if the correct stuffing in these cushions. Then they have the cheek to suggest we pay a further £95 plus delivery for each cushion to rectify this defective cushion stuffing at our expense. Plus the leather arms are marking terribly after just 6 months. Having spent thousands for two 3 seater sofas and a foot stall a quality manufacturer would go that extra mile to make sure their buyer have quality satisfaction - Not Tetrad. Buy from someone else
Just check the other Trustpilot reviews and decide for yourself if you like to part with hard earned money for these substandard sofas

"Disgraceful company"

We completely agree with the other reviews of this company! We had a sofa delivered late May and noted a strange effect on the leather arm but didn’t report until November as we were also suspicious about the sprung base so decided to wait and see if any more faults developed before reporting the original issue. The retailer (Cousins - another disgraceful company) sent Homeserve out and their engineer sent a report in. Our complaint was dismissed due to not having reported soon enough! What about the 12 month warranty? If the product is faulty, it’s faulty, end of story.
Dont go near Tetrad or Cousins - they’re in cahoots!

"Avoid. Awful quality furniture."

Awful quality furniture. A £1000 leather armchair burst at the seams after less than five years.

Company’s response was that this is normal wear and tear.

Shoddy quality and shoddy customer service.

"Avoid this company.....aftercare is rubbish"

I have a problem with a Tetrad three piece suite which I purchased several years ago. The colour is coming off the leather arms from the chairs and transferring on to our clothes. Tetrad customer services said their products are all totally natural and un-dyed and said I must have put something on the leather. I HAVE NOT! The colour of my suite is Ochre and I have never seen any animal with that colour skin.

I was not looking for a replacement or financial compensation, just some help and advice. Their customer service department including the Operations Director have been very unhelpful from the start and have totally dismissed my plea for help.

They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

DO NOT BUY FROM TETRAD.....I certainly won’t be buying anything from them again
