"Bilingual Learner"

I've been bilingual my whole life, speaking American English and ASL (American Sign Language). Interestingly, the language structure of ASL has helped me learn French. However, that's not why I think "Learn French with Alexa" (LFWA) is great. Since joining LFWA, my progress has skyrocketed!

The program's support guide is incredibly helpful—much more than you'd expect. After each lesson, I skim through the guide, take the quiz, and then wait a day before moving on to the next lesson. This pacing has worked wonders for me. Plus, the live lessons are recorded and available for later viewing, which is perfect for people like me in different time zones.

LFWA is beginner-friendly, yet it also offers lessons up to C2 level (complete proficiency) for those who purchase the full course (like I did). I’d recommend this program to anyone learning French. Despite being a small team, LFWA provides responsive customer support that rivals larger platforms. For example, I was impressed when Emma from customer service helped me with a few questions—her communication was clear, easy-going, and enjoyable.

One thing to note: for quizzes, make sure to use the correct accents on words, it will not otherwise be accepted, otherwise, keep an extra tab open with the French accents. If you're on a Chromebook, you can switch to tablet mode for easier access to accents. Lastly, I love the "Meet The Team" section on their website—it’s great to see the people behind the program and give credit to their efforts, like John, who impressed me with the site's design.

Overall Impression: I am a fan of LFWA and will renew for a few more months but should they make user interface more painless, I’ll be inclined to purchase a year membership and continue learning with LFWA into the A2 or B1 Level too.
