I love this program. I've been watching Alexa's free videos for years but wanted to progress to the next levels. Her lessons are well thought out, paced well and fun! I'm enjoying every minute.

"This is an awesome language learning…"
This is an awesome language learning course. Alexa' course is like she's there in person giving practical examples to learning French. If you feel like you didn't get it the first time, watch the lesson again. You will learn this beautiful language with this
program and you will not regret it.

"From the perspective of an old man"
From the perspective of one who is now beginning his third year as a member of Learn French With Alexa, and who has looked at a variety of educational French media on the internet, I feel LFWA is the best program with which to gain a solid foundation for the proper learning of the French language.
All of the structured, 40 courses build on one another and all courses are displayed chronologically on one page of their web site, from the very basics for beginners to the more complex for the more advanced students. No need to search different pages to find the course you want to watch. All the information is there for a student to begin to learn to properly speak and write in the French language. Certainly, the course can’t take one from beginner to fluent; no course that teaches a skill can do it all. The rest comes from constant practice of skills learned
I’ve looked at, and watched, a variety of other French educational programs, all valuable in their own right, but the LFWA team has put together the most professionally conducted, well organized, user-friendly, comprehensive presentation I’ve come across, in my opinion. And they regularly add new material.
Alexa opts to teach in English for the most part although she has a variety of supporting dialogues in French to improve a student’s comprehension. The support guides and audio versions of each lesson are downloadable which makes great listening while going about one’s daily routine
Some teachers conduct their lessons in French, which is nice as well, but it requires both comprehending the dialogue plus learning the information. I prefer to learn one skill at a time. And Alexa’s subtle wit and laid-back way of teaching make learning the material fun.
I‘ve attended, from time to time, a French immersion program at a school in France, and the information presented by the LFWA team is virtually a duplicate of what the school teaches in the classroom. The two programs are awesome compliments to one another. Nothing can take the place of in person, full immersion learning in a town where the local people speak only French, but the next best thing, in my opinion, at a far more affordable cost, (at least from the perspective of an American) is the course presented by the Learn French With Alexa team.

"overpriced with many gaps"
works for beginners but needs a lot of support material to be able to compensate
when you reach a mid level, u need other materials
other online video provided the same quality
when you reach a middle level, you prefer to listen to more french to train your ear to use ur time better
she could use english to re-explain some concepts
but saying helloo, today we will...,last time we did...
definitely needed to be in french
what was missing:
-emphasis that the second verbs is not conjugated and should be pronounced differently
-emphasis on sentence structure
wished they offered returns but they dont

"A good online course to start off with"
I enjoyed learning on the website. The course is pretty comprehensive going from A0 to ~B2 and teaches you mainly grammar and structure. There's a lot of additional content like livestreams and their customer service is good. In the later lessons though, the lesson quizzes recycle the same sentences from the supplementary video quizzes instead of creating new sentences for us like in the earlier lessons.

"I don't understand why you've asked me…"
I don't understand why you've asked me now, at my first payement to learn French with you. I just liked your videos, now I want to learn. Let's see.
