"Learning with Alexa is fun"

Alexa is very engaging and makes learning feel like fun. I’ve been trying to learn French on and off for a while now and visit France once a year on holiday. You can take as many courses as you like but once you’re in France I found it difficult and lost the confidence to try. I think learning with Alexa will give me that confidence back, so far so good.

"Alexa Explains Everything in A Language I Already Understand"

I am really, really pleased I discovered Alexa.

I began learning French with a big name language school in London, but they explained everything in French – a language I don’t yet know – and if I needed to ask a question I had to ask in French. It was so frustrating and a real obstacle to learning.

With Alexa everything is explained in English and I understand right away and everything is explained so well that all my questions are answered in the videos.
In addition to that Alexa has such a lovely, friendly personality that she makes the lessons enjoyable and I feel encouraged.

I would absolutely recommend Alexa to any English speaker who wants to learn French.

I have done less than a month of Alexa's lessons and I honestly think it is the best course out there. I decided to pay for the subscription because her youtube channel is amazing! She is so so fun as a teacher and I truly feel like she cares about helping others learn the french language so I only wish her and her team the best! Truly an enjoyable experience! The amount of french I understand now in such a short time amazes me. This course is structured in a wonderful way to feel like you are building a solid foundation. The confidence alone that I feel is priceless. I am maybe on lesson 16 of 40 and I look forward to the rest. I will say that when learning any language, you have to do other things besides lessons so this is not a gap in this program, this is just a part of the language learning process. For me, I listen to a great podcast called innerfrench to practice my listening comprehension, and I am on Tandem ( language exchange app) to try and practice talking to people for the oral communication aspect. But if I had to suggest anything for Alexa for future iterations it would be to maybe incorporate something similar to innerfrench for listening, and perhaps live zoom interactions where people can practice conversations. This would be the trifecta! Keep up the great work!

"Excellent Course"

I have been subscribed to Alexa's youtube channel for a few years now, and although there is so much content on there for free, I felt I needed a more structured course rather than watching random out of order videos. I am so pleased I subscribed! The course offers so much more content. There are of course the 40 lessons with quizzes and support guides and extra videos to support the lesson, but there is also the added bonus of being able to attend low numbered group live lessons where Alexa responds to pretty much everyones questions or attempts at an answer. You also get access to an archive of all the passed live lessons, verb conjugation lists and vocabulary lists too. I find Alexa to be nonjudgemental, kind and really witty which makes the course lessons and live lessons very enjoyable. I am currently on my second year of subscribing to the course, and although I do find it difficult speaking in french, I am really improving in my ability to comprehend written content. Thank you Alexa :)

She really does an excellent job at structuring each lesson, and provides you with a lot of VERY helpful resources alongside the main lessons. Alexa's playback of conversations with different accents, translation and explanation is great, and the exercises Alexa gives are great, especially for those who can attend his live classes, which I haven't had access to so far.

I had already quit another French course and decided I'd never try again until I came across Alexa's video on youtube and decided to register for the complete course. Alexa is a great teacher, using simple and clear explanations (and humor), I can confidently say I finish every lesson understanding everything. I'm currently on lesson 30 and highly recommend anyone who wishes to learn French, and willing to work hard, to try this course. You won't regret it. THANK YOU!
