"US to Switzerland"

I moved to Switzerland from the US and needed to learn French from previously zero experience since my workplace is in the Romandie (Swiss-French) region. Alexa's French course has been instrumental to my integration in a foreign country. She integrates science-backed methods such as spaced repetition and integrates multiple learning styles (dictation, fill in the blank, quizzes, live sessions). I am partially through the course at the B1 level and look forward to continuing through C2. At this level I feel comfortable having basic conversations, asking questions, and writing short emails. Thank you Alexa, you've empowered me with the gift of language and made my move to a new country much easier. "An excellent way for English speakers to learn French !"

For English speakers who are trying to learn French, Alexa helps ease us into learning by explaining things in our native language. Having first seen her videos on YouTube, I loved the way she explained things so that I could understand. Since having moved to France 18 months ago, and still struggling with the language, I subscribed to LFWA and the courses have been incredibly helpful. It's been 30+ years since I studied English grammar in school, so when traditional French courses talk about Direct Objects (COD) or Indirect Objects (COI), I was completely lost ... but Alexa explains that too, so you get a refresher in English grammar which helps you to learn the French equivalent. I continue to subscribe and go back and revise the courses regularly ... it's so well worth the money. And now the Masterclasses are another way to practice in a safe environment with other learners. I'm really enjoying the Masterclasses too. Some day I won't need the lessons anymore ... but until that day comes, I am grateful to Alexa and her team for helping me get comfortable with speaking French.

Great lessons and easy to follow! Platform is very user-friendly, allows you to go at your own pace and you can either watch the lessons or listen to the audio only version. All lessons are accompanied by extra exercises and in-depth videos. Highly recommended!

"This course doesn’t seize to amaze me"

I have covered 4 classes of the A1 module of the Complete French course and I got to say I am highly impressed by the organisation and structure of the lessons.Lessons build up from basic concepts and build up to more advanced concepts as one moves forward.Lessons are also not too long which is important because doesn’t overwhelm learners with a lot of materials in a single lesson.I hope to continue enjoying this course more as I progress further through the course and I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn French in a great way.
