"First African Safari "

All pickups and transfers, hotel check ins were taken care of and seamlessly executed. Our guide on safari was amazing and the lodges that we stayed in were the best. So comfortable and beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The entire safari experience was magical and memorable. I have some incredible photos and videos and memories I will keep forever. I loved it, will definitely do another in the future.

Brilliant Africa did a brilliant job organizing both my tour with a friend to Uganda to see gorillas, and also a solo safari through Tanzania. They listened to my requests and created a personalized itinerary that was perfect - somehow even snuck in accommodations that were exceptional birdwatching places without knowing that is a particular hobby of mine. The lodges and local tour companies they chose were exceptional, and when they made a mistake with my tour dates they called me immediately, reimbursed me for lodging and flights I had paid for, and solved the problem effectively and transparently. An amazing trip and experience.

It was truly a flawless and once in a lifetime experience!!

"A Safari for Him, the Beach for Her"

Our dreams were ambitious, and perhaps stupid. As was our right - how often does a couple get to Tanzania? And for a honeymoon, no less.

Two parks, I said. Serengeti, of course. It was on every nature documentary I'd ever seen growing up. Ngorongoro too. Anthony Bourdain had sold me on that one. The beach, my wife said. White sands. Zanzibar. 9 days total.

Brilliant Africa sent the itinerary. The first night outside Arusha, with a rainforest walk in the afternoon, if we could muster the strength. Then, off to...Manyara? Another park?! Then Ngorongoro, then Serengeti! Ending in Zanzibar!

End to end, our trip was incredible, and thanks to Brilliant Africa, utterly seamless. From the moment we arrived in Kilimanjaro Airport until we were dropped off at Abeid Amani Karume Airport, every moment of necessary planning (pickups at the airport, transportation to the parks, flights between regions, meals, etc.) was accounted for. If there were any issues, we were not aware of them. The hotels they booked for us were all beautiful in their own right, from the dark wood jungle of Arumeru River Lodge, the lushly landscaped Ngorongoro Farm House, the Serengeti wilderness of Grumeti Hills, and the opulence of the Gold Zanzibar. For every factor within their control, Brilliant Africa delivered the best possible experience, and then some. They even left us a few surprises (which I won't spoil here) that made our honeymoon truly special. I don't think either of us could ask for more.
