I got the Xcellence in white, which is a slight swing in the dark as I wouldn't be able to test it before purchase. What pushed me to buy it is a friend of mine (also a KYGO fan) got it before I did. The sound quality is superior, the bass is great and the noise cancellation function is effective.
Why did I not give this 5 stars? The UX is slightly clumsy. All the functions, such as volume control, noise cancellation activation, accepting a call etc., are managed by the touch on either sides of the earbuds. Plus each action takes about a second to register. So not only do I have to memorize all the different functions a tap or double tap does on each earbud, the delayed response really tests my patience and sometimes it confuses me on the function.

Would I recommend it to anyone looking for a pair of noise cancelling earbuds? Only if you're a KYGO fan.

Good headset with sound that’s really fun listening to.
Good balanced sound that’s suitable for vocals as well as for Pop music and hip hop. Great bass you can also feel but well balanced and not overdone.
I only wish the mids and heights would be clearer and brighter. They seem to be a bit too muffled for my personal taste. This I noticed from the first second.
The ANC is OK, but not great at all. Tere is always a noise in the background which is annoying. The ambient mode amplifies the own voice too much so that it sound quite unnatural.
The clamping force is relatively high so that for bigger heads or sensitive people it is not the right one. Also for people with bigger ears the ear cushions are too small.

"Good earbuds"

Good earbuds, stay in while running, they do noise cancelling very well and when you have them in the sound is great. Because of the fact that I can’t hear the outside, during my runs it’s not the best idea to use these outside, since I hear nothing else 😂
