Shivy was an amazing guide during the India tour. He was always so happy to answer questions and help us out at every opportunity to make sure we had the best experience. From helping people change hotel rooms to explaining Indian customs and making sure all transfers were seamless, he did his best to make the tour as memorable and easy for us as possible. Had an amazing time on the TruTravels Thailand Island Hopper tour! The islands were stunning—especially Koh Tao—and the itinerary was a great mix of activities and chill time. Snorkeling, beach parties, and boat days were definite highlights.

Our guide Millin was super friendly and helpful, really made the group feel like a little travel family. Everything ran smoothly and the vibe was fun and relaxed. Only reason I’m giving 4 out of 5 is I wish we had a bit more cultural/local experiences mixed in with the island fun.

Overall, an unforgettable trip. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a stress-free, social way to explore Thailand’s islands!

"Loved every second "

Loved all of it! So fun, love Bee our tour guide. Felt like we got a good travel/ backpacker experience with days being jam packed and moving around lots but we still had enough downtime and time in one place so that it didn’t feel too rushed.

"Amazing tour!!! "

What a great way to see India! Shive has been great!! Made our tour run so smoothly with us not worrying about anything but enjoying the sights, culture, and the whole trip. He made sure everyone was alright and he always was so dependable for any requests that we had. He is such a knowledgeable tour guide as well, he taught so many things about the culture and history of India and made it so interesting!

"Cambodia - MUST VISIT"

We had a WONDERFUL experience on the TruTravels tour, the activities we did were such a good mixture of fun and culture, the group was wonderful and we were lucky to learn so much about Cambodia and the people. I am very grateful for the wonderful hospitality of the Cambodian people we met, especially in Siem Reap and on Koh Rong island, where we got to attend one of the New Year celebrations. But the favourite part of my trip has got to be Hul. From before we met him in person he was so helpful on WhatsApp, making sure we had everything we needed, offering advice & tips. The amount of enthusiasm he had every day was unmatched, his level of knowledge regarding Cambodia and its history was incredibly informative and his dancing abilities are top tier. If there was ever an issue he would problem solve, he offered great activities, I particularly enjoyed the rural experience in Siem Reap, the boat tour in Koh Rong and the optional activities Hul put on with the go-karting in Kompot & so on. Our trip wouldn’t have been nearly as amazing without Hul as our tour guide, & we will miss him and his bubbly personality excessively.

"Philippines 17 day island hoping "

I recently had the most incredible trip to the Philippines, and I can’t recommend it enough! We went island hopping, and every single stop felt like a slice of paradise — crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, and stunning views everywhere you looked. Not to mention all of the incredible boat trips & snorkel experiences!

The hotels were clean & staff very friendly always wanting to accommodate every single need we may have.

What truly made the trip unforgettable, though, was our amazing tour guide, Vanezza. She was knowledgeable, super friendly, and made sure everyone in our group was having a great time. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does — she shared interesting facts about each island, helped us discover hidden spots, and always had the best recommendations for food and fun. I think her being local to the country also really helped & made the trip even more special!

If you’re planning a trip to the Philippines and want an unforgettable adventure, definitely go island hopping — and if you’re lucky enough to get Vanezza as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic time! Memories to last a lifetime time can’t thank her & Tru Travels any more :)

I was lucky enough to have such an amazing group of people with me which made experience 10 times more amazing, however our true travels leader Hul was phenomenal. He knew what he was talking about. He was kind he was caring. He was willing to help when needed. I got Dengue a fever on the trip and he has been nothing but kind and generous towards me.

"Cambodia 10 day tour with Hul"

I have had such a brilliant time on this trip, it has honestly been such a pleasure and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it!! It has been so amazing to be able to experience the authentic Cambodian culture and learn about the amazing people here, who have been so welcoming and lovely to us - I have really appreciated it so much. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything we have done on the trip but I especially loved experiencing the local life , such as visiting the rice farms and attending the New Year celebrations. I also really loved the Phare Circus in Siem Reap. Visiting S21 and the Killing Fields was a very sad and harrowing day, but it was important to see first hand the atrocities that went on, and it really demonstrates just how resilient the people of Cambodia are. Visiting Angkor Wat was also spectacular and one to tick off my bucket list! Finally, I want to give a special mention to our outstanding tour guide Hul, without whom my experience just would not have been the same. He has gone above and beyond to make sure we have enjoyed ourselves at all times, and it has honestly been such a joy to have spent the last 11 days with him - nothing was too much trouble and I’m so grateful that he shared his beautiful culture with us, together with answering any questions I had honestly and candidly. Thank you so so much for everything, I have loved every minute of the trip and will definitely be coming back to Cambodia again as soon as I can!! My favourite country yet!!
