I had a recent exasperation of my emphysema/COPD and received my AirPhysio at the same time. I found much-needed relief and the ability to clear my lungs of mucus. I wouldn't be without it now and it's part of my daily routine.

"Air Physio, 1st Use"

So, right out of the gate, my initial experience was...Annoying!!!
I have no idea who wrote your instruction sheet, but you really need to review things like this before they go out to the general public.
1) 1st off, I have at BSc in Biology, so, I understood "Point-Of-Use instructions and Concentrations tables. HOWEVER, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!! You are selling a consumer product, so make your instructions fit the AVERAGE CONSUMER, not a university educated science major!

2) You see, you placed the same point of use instructions on the instruction sheet TWICE! Why? It was a waste of space, paper and printers resources, not to mention, confusing for the average joe/joanne! I was even left wondering if I had missedsomething. Why was I reading the same thing twice?!

3) Next, GET RID OF CONCENTRATION TABLES!!! Simply list the amount of 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (spelled wrong on the instruction sheet, btw!), as this is the standard dilution sold over the counter in 90% of the worlds countries, and water to appropriately cover the Air Physio parts. By the way, it takes 5 TIMES the amount of water and isopropyl alcohol listed on the concentration table, in the average medium stainless steel or glass bowl, to properly submerse the parts of the unit. WHY WOULDN'T YOU JUST GIVE THE AVERAGE AMOUNT OF WATER AND ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL IN THE FIRST PLACE?! **Peoples kitchens are not laboratories and the average person has no titration or precision fluid measurement equipment in their kitchens!**

4) Next, your instructions say, "...soak in the solution in accordance with the manufactures guidelines." WHAT MANUFACTURE'S GUIDELINES?! There are NO guidelines on the instruction sheet, on the packaging, nor do isopropyl alcohol manufactures place sterilization guidelines on their packaging!!!!

5) Lastly, no where on your instruction sheet does it say that the surface on which you are drying the parts should also be sanitized and sterilized. As a matter of fact, just touching the unit with bare hands in the boiled or distilled water would immediately render the solution(s) unsterile.

Food for thought.

So, when I finally get to try my Air Physio in an hour or so, after it air dries, I will let you know how it goes.

Second day of use:
The Air Physio works as listed in starting treatment. Phlem and mucous made its way out of my chest and I am noticing easier breathing immediately. I take both nasal and oral puffers, so the immediate physical and physiological evidence are encouraging!

More to follow as the use of the Air Physio continues.

"It does work, but it takes time"

I have asthma. The AirPhysio device doesn't give the large oscillations I expected, just very faint, light oscillations. However, they are enough to get some of the mucus loosened up and start clearing it from the lungs. The effect of the AirPhysio is inconspicuous at first, but after awhile it becomes more obvious that is working. It takes a little time to learn to control the air going into the device to get it to oscillate at the highest frequency.

Inhalation and exhalation spirometers have their purpose, and they do help. However, the AirPhysio does both, because you have to inhale deeply before using the device, then exhale at a moderate pace to get the ball bearing to move up and down.

It took me a few weeks to build up the number of times I use the AirPhysio each time because it tired my lungs out at first. Now when I use it, I feel like I can breathe so much better afterwards. When I miss a session, my breathing is noticeably more labored. This little device is becoming a necessary addition to my daily routine.

My only complaint is the price is a little steep.
