The product itself is super amazing!!!! Unfortunately the only reason I had to repurchase a device is because the company does not separately sell the insert piece on its own. Like they do the other parts of the air physio. This made me have to buy a whole new unit rather than just a much cheaper part.

"Marvelous Mucus Clearance Device"

Saw this product online and decided to buy one. I have asthma and will suffer from mucus build up anytime that I catch a cold.

Before Christmas I caught a head cold that eventually made its way to my chest. I could not sleep lying down and had been propped up for about 5 hours, still struggling with my chest. I could not sleep and was getting very tired. I had taken my asthma meds, even some Ibuprofen gel which has worked in the past, to open up my lungs and deal with the mucus build up, but nothing was working. Then I suddenly remembered my air physio purchase that was on the shelf.

The instructions were easy to follow and assembly was fairly quick. I followed the instructions for usage. There is a strange feeling of vibrations in your mouth and throat. There must be vibrations in your windpipe and lungs also, but I was not aware of these. I used it for about 20 minutes. There was some coughing and suddenly after struggling for 5 hours, I was able to lie down and sleep. What my asthma meds and Ibuprofen gel had failed to do, this device managed to do in 20 minutes, basically clear the mucus. I was quite shocked and very impressed by the results. Considering this was my first time trying out the device.

This device uses oscillating positive expiratory pressure to remove the mucus that is stuck to your lungs. Basically making the lungs vibrate, so the mucus falls away and you can then cough it up. With out removing this mucus, you will not get rid of the infection and your lung capacity will be greatly reduced. I wish I had had this device 10 years ago, when a lung infection almost put me in hospital. The GP was struggling with antibiotics to kill off the infection and the mucus was horrendous, I could barely breathe. This device would have cleared the mucus i`m sure and would have cut down the amount of time that it took for me to recover.

After every usage I take it apart, wash and sterilise the components as directed and leave the device to dry naturally over night. The sterilising bit is very important, as you are blowing into this device and it will become contaminated with germs.

I aim to use more of this device over the winter months. It was not expensive to buy about £45 - £55 and delivery was reasonably quick. Normal usage is 5-10 mins twice per day. It is for mucus clearance & lung expansion. There are devices on their website for sports, average lung capacity, low lung capacity and children.

If you suffer from asthma, COPD, bronchitis or any other lung condition that produces retained secretions. I would highly recommend this device to help you, as it did me.

Item finally showed delivered after 3.5 months and I never received anything. Was definitely charged right away and getting ahold of anybody from that company has been impossible. I’d give 0 stars if i could. Save yourself the hassle.

"I'm skeptical of everything"

I'm skeptical of everything. But AirPhysio has worked for me from day one. I had that back of the throat sticky phlegm that you can't swallow away. I know my wind pipe down to my lungs was coated with it. I have been using AirPhysio since it arrived and I don't have those nagging feelings when I go to bed that I will choke on my own fluids anymore. I don't have to clear my throat before I speak anymore, and I swear my voice is louder and more clear.
