Thank you for the best vacation possible.

We just got back from our 9 day Ireland vacation yesterday and I wanted to write you a quick, and deeply heartfelt, note of thanks. Everything - from the detailed, custom itinerary booklet you prepared for us, John who met us at the airport and made sure we were comfortable with the rental car, to each and every hotel, dinner and excursion - was absolutely perfect. The hospitality of the staff at each hotel was beyond what we could have imagined and the accommodations were stunning. Dawn at the Marlfield House was so nice and helpful and, even though we arrived late, made sure we got a reservation at The Duck for dinner. The Cliff House was lovely and dinner delicious. The Europe Hotel was so beautiful - the grounds were relaxing and the room so comfortable. We had the chance to drive to Dingle and loved the surrounding country side. When I told the staff I was afraid our car may not make it to the petrol station, they put a gallon in and pulled the car to the front - service like that is truly above and beyond. Dromoland Castle was amazing. The falconry session was not-to-be-missed. It wasn’t on my bucket list but is now, and crossed off. Although if (when) I return with friends, we’ll do it again. The Bunratty Castle banquet was so well done… we both loved it - stellar performances and food. We weren’t able to go on the ferry - we arrived and the weather conditions were too cold and wet for us… but we did get a chance to see the Cliffs of Moher. Dinner at the Earl of Thomand was exquisite. The Merrion Hotel was beautiful as well. The afternoon tea was delightful.

To summarize - you did a fantastic job planning our trip. It was a wonderful last hurrah with my son who is going away to college in the fall. I’m so glad we were able to spend such a wonderful, relaxing time in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. I do plan to return, next time when the plants are blooming and it’s a bit warmer. Your thoughtful planning of our trip made it a memory we'll treasure forever. Ireland is a jewel and you are a gem! The amazing kindness, wonderful meals and stunning countryside kind of ruined America a little for me.

From the very beginning our agent worked with us to help us determine the best option for our vacation. Maria responded quickly to our questions providing detailed information to ensure we felt confident in our decisions. After booking a 10 day self guided tour, we soon received a brief description of the upcoming itinerary. We later received a detailed itinerary with vouchers for our lodging and car rental. The itinerary provided detailed descriptions and directions to recommended sights and attractions, but also gave options for us to modify the journey to meet our needs. By the time of departure, we were well prepared to embark on this exciting journey. We especially enjoyed staying at the selected bed & breakfasts with delightful hosts with all anticipated amenities provided. "Would Definitely Use Again"

Stephanie was a gem to work with! Our group of nine wanted to go to Dublin and Northern Ireland to celebrate a birthday - on St. Patrick's Day. I tried to book the trip on my own but quickly realized I needed help. Stephanie was able to book our whole trip (accommodations, train, rental car) while providing exceptional service. All of our hotels were in great locations and close to transportation. In Northern Ireland, I wasn't sure where to stay once we left Belfast, and Stephanie picked the best places that would ensure we would see the most of this beautiful country. Stephanie was also very flexible as we added more people to our group, and changed itineraries. I could not have been more happy with the service and value we received from Discovering Ireland Vacations.
