No Cyber Monday in Seattle

"Tinggly Dropped The Ball "

Tinggly advertised a 30% off Cyber Monday sale and the count-down timer on their homepage said 10 hours until the special offer ended; however, when I went to make my purchase, the 30% Cyber Monday discount vanished, although there were still banners touting the special plus that live count-down timer. It was only 9:30 pm PST where I live. I messaged the company through their chat-bot giving them the details of the situation and approximately four hours later their account manager told me the Cyber Monday special had ended. I noticed she's in a country outside the US where the time for her was Tuesday morning. A big fumble on their part by disabling the discount before Cyber Monday was over in all time zones where they operate even though they were still actively promoting it. And an even bigger screw up by not recognizing the mistake when I clearly told them it was still Monday PST where I live and honoring the 30% discount. It throws up a big red flag for a company that specializes in experiences in multiple countries and time zones.
Ultimately, I found that if you scroll to the bottom of their home page you can "subscribe" by giving them your email address and receive a 30% discount on your first purchase. I made my purchase before I received the response from their account manager. Crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly for my gift recipients, and they don't need to contact the company -- particularly with anything date or time sensitive.

"Tinggly is problematic. Avoid."

I had ordered two vouchers as gifts. With the first voucher, the recipient had trouble using it for the experience he wanted and had to call Tinggly to get it resolved. He should not have had to do that. The experience he had was wonderful, but going through hoops to enjoy the experience was not.

With the second voucher, the recipient never got it, yet Tinggly was quick to charge my credit card. I had to go into my account, find the redemption link and manually send it.

Based on these two experiences, I doubt I will return to Tinggly as a customer.

I had a gift card from Tinggly before. I used it for a cooking class in Rome, Italy. I suggested my mom to get one for a sibling. She thought it was a great idea. It was very easy to purchase.
