Car condition and the equipments provides were top notch. Very easy to pick and drop cars with self-service facility. Good customer service and timely responses to queries. May be some instructions pamphlet for using Wi-Fi would help in the car.

"Efficient service"

We arranged car hire online, and everything was clear on the website regarding charges and insurance cover. The pick up in Reykjavik was efficient and the car was well presented. Very pleased with the service and would have no hesitation in using Go Rentals again.

The car we got Dacia duster did miss a beat. Very comfortable for both of us. Manual transmission and 4x4 is also very handy when we were up in theountains in the north.

The pick up was a little late to bring us from airport to the depot admittedly it was late Sunday 6:45pm and they were a little short staffed. However the return was a breeze and we were at the check-in counter in less than 15 min. I would recommend and use them again. We had the car for 9 days. The diesel engine was powerful and torque.

The booking process was extremely smooth. The self service key pick up was explained in details in an e-mail which greatly helped. The self service key drop off was a bit of a challenge only because there was no e-mail to explain how and where to drop the keys. I guessed it would be same process but unsure where to park, would we need to leave the same key locker room or elsewhere. It wasn’t clear and caused a bit of stress for me.
Otherwise all good.

We rented a Duster from Go Car rental in September 2024. The car worked great, and the company was legit and the personnel we met were welcoming and professional. The problem was that we had opted for only key retrieving from the airport with no need to go to the actual office and the car should have been at our disposal when we arrived at Keflavik airport. This was, however, not the case. It turned out that we should have given our address in the online check in that we did in advance for the airport pick up of the car.
Also, there was no place for giving the details for the second driver in the online check-in that was included in our platinum deal, but we had to email this information separately, which was a bit of a hassle.
Also, there is a question in the hiring form that asks for “drivers’ license” but no idea what this question refers to.

So, remember to give all the details even if they are not marked with an asterisk if opting for airport pick up of the vehicle.

Genial comunicación de principio a fin con la empresa. A los 10min de aterrizar nos llamaron para comprobar si ya estábamos en el aeropuerto y venir por nosotros porque era de madrugada.
Nos dieron todas las directrices posibles y cosas importantes a tener en cuenta para conducir por Islandia y el coche que elegimos muy bien, limpio, cuidado, era un 4x4 pequeñito que nos llevó a todos los rincones de este gran país!
A la hora de hacer el check out si había más gente, pero fue bastante rápido.
