I have been dealing with LN at Chancellors following on from a repair that needed urgent attention. L has been so helpful, prompt and kept in communication with me through this, resolving the issue quickly for me and my tenants.

We had a hard time getting a ceiling leak fixed for almost 2 years. It was meant to be fixed before we even moved in but due to several issues it wasn’t. However, Leah Bailey had started looking after our property and showed great determination and diligence to try and get the leak fixed. We are really grateful for all her efforts!

From making our initial property viewing appointment to when we went to view the property, we found Chancellors to be extremely polite and efficient.
We met with Daniel Morgan who showed us around the property. He was very helpful, but we were also impressed by the amount of time he allowed us to view - at no point did we feel rushed. There was also no "hard sell" and we felt he really understood that finding the right property takes time and that it is so important to make sure that it's right.

After a long 7 months, today we completed our sale!
At the start Chancellors were great - Gareth gave excellent recommendations re a marketing strategy, and created competition, and Michelle ran a superb open day. We had a lot of offers well over the guide price and accepted one.
Things seemed to be going along ok but then there was loss of momentum, staff losses and difficulties.
Months were lost and we were on the verge of pulling out and starting again. But then Marc Williams, regional manager stepped in and took the reigns ... He was amazing! He delved, chased, followed up and informed. We felt looked after and that he was absolutely determined to make our sale happen and communicated frequently and responded to me immediately and without fail. All while sorting out his staffing challenges - which he did. We got there in the end, phew!

From beginning to end, the service was excellent and professionally delivered. Sam, in the local branch, and Taylor in Head Office were very responsive and communicated regularly to keep me updated. It was a very personal service and they listened to my requirements. I would recommend using them.

"Unfair practices as there is Monopoly"

I am new to the UK and tried to use letting agents for renting a property. Everyone acted very kind to me except Chancellors. They shared me a word document with the terms typed in, most of them are protecting the interest of landlords or letting agents. In modern days, they request a guarantor for the payments on your behalf. Guarantor clause made me opt for another letting agent, so they ended up charging me 1 week rent (called as Holding Deposit). In my opinion, this is very unfair and monopoly and taxing the customer without rendering any services.
