They have failed to proceed with the deal inventing more documents than sellers solicitor could provide and changed me 8000 in the end. I had power of attorney for my brother who passed away in August 2023.
He had learning difficulties and since he was 62 had carers coming 3 Times a day . But in fact his learning difficulties go back to childhood born in 1950, when there was no existing catagory . It's been a fight all his life to give him his dignity because he was misunderstood. With sorting out his documents After his death ,I went to Knights in Bristol where I was well received by Jennifer Windsor and Abigail Harding . Unfortunately , Jennifer fell ill and a team in Portsmouth took over the work , for me it was difficult as it seemed like I had to start again from the beginning. But in that team who were very professionnal I thank them all , I would like to make special mention for Amanda Paadekooper, who I consider was exceptionnal because there were moments when the paperwork didn't go smoothly and I got upset and she remained calm and composed and always listened , and was kind , and in her work was very professional , I always felt she knew what she was talking about .
Ellie Mae Cocker was another in the team I would like to mention for her quality of work . It's a unique moment losing a loved one who has needed special attention .
