I absolutely love my splash back. I ordered it via email as it is bespoke. It was so easy to communicate and my concerns were addressed swiftly. All the staff members that I spoke to were very helpful right throughout the process from order, to creating and to delivering. I would 100% recommend and have done already. First class service.

Easy to order & product is good but no paperwork or instructions were in the package. I had to ring up and ask for instructions. Plus had to check adhesive was the correct one as it just said it was for windows & doors. Also couldnt tell which was the right side of the glass - had to guess!

My 83-year-old mother bought a glass splash back for behind the cooker. I unpacked it and gently lifted the item out of the box, while still holding it carefully and correctly it exploded into thousands of tiny fragments. This was extremely dangerous and showered our dog with glass and also had I been holding this higher up could potentially have caused serious eye damage.

There were no warnings on the item, and requests to the company for information relating to the quality standards that the glass conforms to are being completely ignored. I did telephone them and they stated they are unable to provide a refund (they are able to provide a refund they just won’t) and they also stated that manufacturing issues in glass are impossible. This is not the case as manufacturing issues in glass, causing such incident are entirely possible and do happen.

The gentleman I was speaking to then hung up on me which is totally unacceptable.

They have received two extensive emails chasing them for resolution to this issue over the last month and have completely ignored both emails, clearly they simply do not respond and that’s that.

In anticipation of a reply from the company on here to clarify; I am legally entitled to a refund, you are able to provide a refund, and manufacturing issues with such products are entirely possible .

Very very disappointed, at their response to what is potentially a dangerous product on the market. They have provided no explanation as to how they think such an incident might happen as they promised to email me and haven’t.

I welcome a representative explaining to me on here how this incident could have happened, given that it was intact in the box, was handled extremely carefully, suffered, no trauma or mishandling, and yet spontaneously exploded, which I believe points towards a manufacturing issue.

We do not wish to have a replacement as we are concerned about a company that completely ignores such serious incidents, ignores e-mails, does not provide regulatory standards information, and hangs up on customers when they telephone.

This incident risked serious injury and caused significant alarm, why would my 83-year-old mother want to have a replacement and risk this happening again especially from a company that has shown absolutely no duty of care towards its customers?

We will let the authorities decide.
